HOW TO PLAY IN BRIEF

THE GOAL
Your goal is to accumulate the most victory points. However, victory points are awarded ONLY by the cards you have placed in your Tomb. Cards remaining in your deck or hand at the end of the game are worth nothing.

THE PYRAMID
In the center of the table is a pyramid of purchasable cards. The available cards are at the base; when you buy one, the pyramid collapses, allowing new cards to fall from the top.

THE GAME TURN
On your turn, you can play as many cards from your hand as you like. Each card can be used in one of the following ways:

1) AS CURRENCY
Use the card's gold value to purchase new cards from the base of the Pyramid. The new cards go into your discard pile.

2) AS ACTION
Perform the effect described on the card (draw, discard, interact with the Pyramid, etc.).

3) TO BURY (ENTOMB)
Some cards allow you to take a card from your hand or the Pyramid and place it in your Tomb. Once in the Tomb, the card is permanently removed from play but will award you points at the end of the game.

END OF GAME
When the Pyramid, draw pile, and boneyard cards are exhausted (or other specific conditions occur), all players count the value of the cards in their Tomb. The player with the most points wins.
