1 Each player leads a Japanese clan trying to gain prestige at Himeji Castle by placing workers and managing resources.
2 Each turn, you choose a die from the common offering and use it to perform one of the available actions, such as obtaining resources, recruiting characters, or advancing through the gardens, river, or castle.
3 The value of the die and the position chosen determine the power of the action and possible extra costs or benefits.
4 Plan your moves carefully to gain honor points through controlling areas, completing objectives, and the efficiency of your actions.
5 At the end of the game, whoever has accumulated the most honor points wins and gains the Shogun's favor!
