Gain prestige by building the most majestic sections of St. Basil's Cathedral before winter—or worse, an opponent—snatches your last ornate tower. Games last about 80 minutes and offer an accessible Eurogame challenge, yet with a depth of choice that rewards every well-calculated move.
Thanks to a surprisingly elegant wheel and resource management system, each turn you'll have to decide whether to take materials, assign yourself sections to build, or decorate for extra points. 🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Assign and build sections of the cathedral
Each player chooses sections to build (from the common cathedral board). They reserve them with their own banners, and once reserved, only that player can build them.
2. Main action: the nut on the washer
The heart of the game is a wheel with colored dice. Each die represents a resource (wood, stone, gold, etc.). Move a die a number of spaces equal to the number indicated on it, and collect resources from the landing space.
3. Build using resources
To build a section, spend the indicated resources directly from your reserve. Each completed section earns you points and brings you closer to victory.
4. Improve your die with craftsman cards
You can enhance the spaces on the dice wheel by assigning craftsman cards, which add bonuses, combos, or extra advantages when performing the actions associated with those dice.
5. End of game and score
The game ends when a certain number of sections have been completed. Points are scored for buildings, decorations, tower majorities, remaining money, and special cards. The player with the most points wins.
