🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. The Sabbath has begun: who will lead the witches?
In Septima, you lead a small coven of witches intent on proving to the old leader that you are the worthy heir. To do so, you must gain Wisdom through thoughtful actions, a balance of magic and discretion, and the ability to win the favor of a city still wary of the occult.
2. Simultaneous actions, shared risk.
Each turn, all players secretly choose one of the nine available actions (such as Gather, Heal, Remember, Recruit, etc.). If multiple players select the same action, they gain a special bonus ... but also attract the attention of the Witch Hunters . Collaboration pays off, but trust can be a double-edged sword.
3. Enchantments, potions and public trials.
To gain Wisdom, you'll need to gather herbs , brew potions , cast spells , and, most importantly, heal citizens : only in this way can you gain their favor. Periodically, some witches (even those captured by other players) will end up on trial. With enough consensus among those present, you can acquit them and recruit them into your coven .
4. Build your coven, witch by witch.
Each witch you save adds unique abilities to your team. You'll have to decide when to take risks, when to be cautious, and when to act boldly. Your coven can grow to four witches, and every decision you make affects how you interact with others and the city of Noctenburg.
5. Victory through wisdom… but beware of fear.
The game ends when the new Septima is chosen. Whoever has collected the most Wisdom wins, but be careful: inspiring too much fear among the populace can cost you the game. The key is finding the perfect balance between shared magic and controlling suspicion , in a strategic experience as elegant as it is thematic.
