A Europe marked by war
In Scythe, you lead one of five Eastern European factions in an alternate 1920s, where conflict and technology have forever changed the face of the continent. Your goal is to expand your borders, build your empire, and gain the prestige needed to dominate others.
Asymmetry and faction identity
Each faction starts with different resources, abilities, and positioning, designed to make it unique. The asymmetrical aspect isn't just aesthetic: it influences your strategy from the first turn and forces you to play the role differently with each game.
Fluid mechanics and continuous decisions
The game uses an action selection system without rounds or phases, which reduces downtime and keeps the pace fast. Each turn, you decide how to deploy your workers, construct buildings, produce resources, recruit new soldiers, or activate mechs ready to defend or conquer territories.
An engine that grows over time
