Ted Alspach, the brilliant mind behind global successes, brings us a vibrant and immediate team (or free-for-all) card game. The goal is simple but diabolical: have the lowest possible score when someone shouts "Scram!" But beware: the cards are not what they seem, and memory plays tricks.
Each card represents an animal with unique abilities or a camper to protect (or banish). You'll have to work together with your partner, exchange secret information, and manipulate the deck to wreak havoc on the opposing team. It's a dance of bluffing and deduction under the canopy of trees.

Critters vs. Campers
Mechanically, Scram! is a refined hand management and memory game that inherits the brilliance of the Silver series, but evolves it into a more accessible and collaborative environment. Each player starts with five face-down cards, only some of which they know. The goal is to reduce the total value of their hand (and that of their team) by drawing, discarding, and using the animals' special abilities.
Tactical depth lies in managing incomplete information. You never know exactly what your opponents (or even your teammate!) have in their hands, but you can deduce it from their actions. "Identical" cards can be discarded together to speed up the game, but they require you to memorize their positions and values. The timing of the "Scram!" call is the heart of the design: calling it too early can give the other players the win, calling it too late leaves you with too many points.
