In the hidden realm of the gods, fate is a scale, and you are the one who tips it. In Scales of Fate Deluxe , two players take on the role of rival deities guiding their demigods between glory and ruin, manipulating events to gain fame, power, and control over fate itself . But beware: in the Veiled Fate universe, nothing is ever what it seems.
Each turn, choose from nine demigods, send them onto the board, and decide whether to aid, deceive, or sacrifice one for the other . Every action—from divine lightning to seeking the gods' favor—affects your scores in subtle and unpredictable ways. Ultimately, you'll earn points based on the position of your demigods... or the distance between them, if you've played smart. Il cuore di Scales of Fate risiede nella sua meccanica di deduzione a ruoli nascosti e punteggio variabile. Ogni giocatore controlla due semidei in segreto e, a turno, invia una delle nove figure in gioco a compiere un’azione sul tabellone. Ogni mossa sposta i semidei lungo la scala della fama, ma la chiave sta nel non rivelare chi controlli, mentre cerchi di capire chi appartiene al tuo avversario. A fine partita, il punteggio si calcola in base alla somma o alla differenza tra i tuoi semidei, premiando tanto la cooperazione quanto il sabotaggio. L’abilità sta nel mantenere l’equilibrio del fato, aiutando e danneggiando con la stessa grazia, fino a svelare l’identità al momento perfetto.
