FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
The trump changes every hand. The tile you won is only valuable if you fit it in the right place. And the dinosaurs are watching you.
What it's about
A quick trick, a puzzle that grows on the table
Sauros is the new trick-taking game by Cole Smith published by Tangerine Games, the studio that brought us Peaks. It's played with thick, engraved tiles—not cards—and the trump suit changes every hand.
The tiles you win aren't just points: they have to be placed on your personal board, where each dinosaur has different scoring conditions. You align suits, symbols, positions—and at the end of the round, the board rotates. Five rounds, five dinosaurs, five different ways of thinking.
It's light to learn but deep to master. The beauty isn't in winning the hand: it's in figuring out which tile you need for placement three turns later.
Winning the trick is half the game. The other half is figuring out where to place the tile you just won—because each dinosaur rewards a different idea of order.
The secret of Sauros in one line
The thick engraved tiles, the neon icons, the boards that rotate at the end of the round: you immediately understand that this isn't just any trick-taking game. It's stranger, more tactile, more unique.

Sauros
What's on the table
The four elements that make the game
5 dinosaur boards
Triceratops, brontosaurus, T-Rex, and more. Each board rewards a different idea: alignments, groups, rare symbols.
Thick engraved tiles
Not cards, not cardboard. Real tiles with engraved icons—they remain legible even after a hundred games.
Changing trump
The trump suit renews every hand. What was strong a turn ago is now worth less than the tile you need.
Rotating boards
At the end of the round, the board passes to the next player. Each dinosaur is played at least once—no two games are the same.
One game is enough to fall in love with it. The second is already different, because you understand that the real game is elsewhere.
