What it's about
The Root game board, but in neoprene
A deluxe neoprene playmat featuring the Autumn and Winter maps from the Root base game, with illustrations by Kyle Ferrin. Approximately 56 × 56 cm, 3 mm thick, double-sided: two seasons, two atmospheres, the same path you know by heart.
Neoprene isn't just aesthetics. The soft surface keeps pieces and encampments in place, dampens dice rolls and makes them silent, doesn't curl at the corners, and stays perfectly flat from start to finish of the game.
It's an accessory: you need the base copy of Root to play. But once you've tried the playmat, the cardboard board stays in the box. It rolls up, stores away, and can be hand-washed — designed to last game after game.
