With the Lakes Expansion , your tracks overlook tranquil lakes… but beneath the surface lies a new strategic network! In this expansion for Railroad Tiles , you not only build lakes and place ferries, but you also create actual water stations : thanks to ports, every route connecting to the same body of water is automatically connected to the others!
Ferries are placed at the end of each round if the number of ports exceeds the number of ferries on a lake. Placement is free, and points are accumulated based on the presence of other ferries on the same lake. But be careful: to get the highest score, you must maintain a balance between ports and boats.
Additional objectives like Fisherman's Island or the Hydroelectric Plant add variety and challenge, pushing you to explore new combinations. A perfect expansion for those looking for a family or solo strategy board game with a fresh aquatic twist.
