Papyria takes you to Mesopotamia in 1500 BC, where the first cities emerge along the banks of great rivers, and every discovery can change the fate of an entire people. As an explorer and builder, you must expand your territory, create waterways, and develop the first cultural centers in an elegant and surprisingly modern strategic board game .
Each turn, you move your traveler or ship, and once you reach a location, you choose which actions to take: build cities, temples, or mines; produce lapis lazuli and papyrus; or obtain new tiles and multipliers that will affect your final scores. Your decisions shape the region just like an ancient city planner.
The game's strength lies in managing the rondel, planning your movements, and the ability to transform a path into a network of opportunities. Placing a tile at the right time can open up a flow of points, while producing resources at the wrong time can leave you without the energy needed for construction.
As supplies begin to run low and the last signs of the end emerge on the map, every choice weighs like ancient stone. Will your civilization be distinguished by ingenuity, harmony, and prosperity? In Papyria, history is written by the hands that build.
