GAME OVERVIEW
Obsession transports you to mid-19th-century England. You are the manager of a country estate, and your goal is to improve it to accommodate the social elite and facilitate an advantageous marriage with the Fairchild family. The Victorian Box is the ideal tool for organizing all the components necessary for this endeavor.

SETUP AND PREPARATION
Each player chooses a **Family** (e.g., York, Cavendish) and receives their own personal board, a set of starting tiles, basic Guest cards, and servants. Thanks to the Victorian Box, simply remove the chosen family's box and everything is ready. The Building tile market is set up in the center of the table along with the Seasons board.

SHIFT STRUCTURE
The game takes place over a series of seasonal rounds. In each round, a player performs the following main actions:

1. **Rotate the Service**: Move the previously used easement to the rest area or make it available.
2. **Host an Event**: Choose a Building tile (e.g. Tea Room, Garden) from your estate and play Guest cards from your hand that match the required prestige level.
3. **Assign Servants**: Inviting guests requires staff. Assign Butlers, Waiters, and Maids to guests or rooms to activate their bonuses.
4. **Collect Benefits**: Earn Reputation, Money, or new Guests depending on the event and the cards played.
5. **Buy from the Market**: Spend the money you earn to buy new Building tiles and expand your estate.

COURTSHIP AND GOALS
**Courtship Phases** occur at specific times of the year. Players compare the Victory Point values ​​of their tiles in a specific category (e.g., Prestige, Sports). The winner receives a visit from the Fairchild brothers, powerful bonus cards for the next round. Secret Objective cards guide your long-term strategy.

END OF THE GAME
After the final Courtship, final points are calculated based on the estate's value, Guest cards, servants, reputation, and completed objectives. The family with the highest score wins and secures its future in high society.
