What it's about
Everything the Gamefound campaign unlocked. In one box.
The Stretch Goals Box collects content that was previously reserved for backers during the crowdfunding campaign. Adam Kwapiński conceived it as a second game within the game: it doesn't just add five cards and three tokens, but changes who you face, how you face them, and who sits at the table with you.
Three independent modules. The Neoflesh Cult — the first true new race in the series, biomechanical, led by an AI Queen, with 50+ dedicated miniatures. The Affiliate — the first NPC in Nemesis history, which modifies the mission structure in real-time. The Specialists — two Pack characters (Medical Support and Bioenhancement Expert) with exclusive boards, abilities, and action cards.
Italian edition Cranio Creations: 50+ miniatures, 6 double-sided Character boards, 220+ cards, 40+ tokens. All integrated into the basic Retaliation rules without rewriting them.

Neoflesh Cult
Complete biomechanical race. Delver Shield Robots, Exploders, Shooters, Melee, Twitchling, converted human Cultists, an AI Queen. 50+ miniatures, 20 Event cards, 20 Attack cards, 10 Queen Health cards, 12 Exploration cards.
The Affiliate (NPC)
The first NPC in Nemesis history. One miniature, dedicated Event, Exploration, and Objective cards. Modifies missions in progress with unpredictable consequences — and no one controls what it will do next turn.
Medical Support
Pack Character. Miniature, Character tile, plastic ring, 10 Action cards, personal item. Specialist in treating severe wounds and contamination — the one every team learns never to lose.
Bioenhancement Expert
Original Gamefound exclusive. Pack Character with bio-enhancements and unique Action cards. An ambiguous moral choice: use enemy blood to survive. It works. At a price.
Your copy of Retaliation already had eight ways to make you lose. Now it has thirty. And choosing which one to try first is already the first decision of a new campaign.

Cosa cambia al tavolo
Non sostituisce Retaliation. Lo rinnova.
"Stasera proviamo il Neoflesh"
Si sceglie il modulo per la serata. Niente Adulti, niente Fuchi: si tira fuori la scatola Stretch Goals e si mescolano i mazzi della razza Neoflesh. Sul tavolo compaiono miniature che nessuno aveva mai visto — esoscheletri, robot scudo, cultisti. La curiosità è già metà del divertimento.
Il primo Delver Shield
Spari come al solito. Il dado raffica risolve. Il robot non muore — ha lo scudo, devi flank. Le tattiche del gioco base smettono di funzionare. Qualcuno al tavolo ride: "Va bene, allora cambiamo strategia". È esattamente quello che speravi succedesse.
L'Affiliato compare in plancia
Una miniatura nuova entra in stanza. Non la controlla nessuno. La carta dice solo "si muove verso il rumore più alto". Qualcuno si sta nascondendo da sopra? Ora c'è anche questo da gestire. La missione è cambiata e ancora non avete sparato un colpo.
La Regina-IA si rivela
Non è un insetto. È un cervello computazionale che dirige il culto. Le 10 carte Salute della Regina raccontano una storia diversa da quella della Regina del gioco base. Più lenta a morire. Più tattica. E quando perde HP, attiva computer in mappa che spawnano nuovi Delver. Il tavolo è in ginocchio.
"Domani proviamo la combo completa"
Finita la partita, si sta già pensando a quale modulo provare la volta dopo. Neoflesh più Affiliato? Bioenhancement Expert contro il Culto? La scatola Stretch Goals non si esaurisce in una sera — è materiale per dieci partite nuove, ognuna diversa.
Come si usa
Quattro modi di integrarla
I moduli sono indipendenti. Puoi accenderne uno, due o tutti — la scelta è tua e cambia il tipo di partita.
Sostituisci la razza Intruso del gioco base con il Culto. Tutto il resto resta uguale. È la modalità "nuova campagna" — stesse regole, nemici completamente diversi.
Mantieni gli alieni classici di Retaliation e aggiungi l'NPC. Una variabile in più, un agente che nessuno controlla, missioni che cambiano in corsa.
Supporto Medico e Bioenhancement Expert si possono usare in qualsiasi configurazione. Aggiungono due profili giocabili — uno difensivo, uno aggressivo e ambiguo.
Per gruppi rodati: Neoflesh come nemico, Affiliato come complicazione, nuovi personaggi al tavolo. La partita più lunga, varia e imprevedibile che Retaliation può offrire.

Una razza con identità propria
Non è una variante reskin: 7 tipi di nemico (Shield, Esplosori, Tiratori, Melee, Twitchling, Cultisti, Regina-IA), 30 segnalini Intruso dedicati, mazzo Attacco con comportamenti specifici. Le tattiche del base non funzionano qui.
Il primo NPC della trilogia
L'Affiliato è qualcosa di mai visto in Nemesis: una miniatura autonoma con regole proprie. Modifica le missioni, crea complicazioni narrative, rende impossibile pianificare a lungo termine.
Due nuovi personaggi giocabili
Supporto Medico copre un ruolo che mancava nel gioco base. Bioenhancement Expert apre una via tematica nuova — usare la biologia aliena per potenziarsi. Entrambi sono compatibili anche con i nemici classici.
50+ miniature di alta qualità
Standard Awaken Realms — alta definizione, posizioni dinamiche. Il Neoflesh Cult è disegnato da Piotr Foksowicz e Patryk Jędraszek, già autori dell'art del gioco base. Coerenza estetica garantita.
Dado Lucky Burst
Aggiunto al sistema di dadi del base: una nuova opzione tattica per il fuoco di raffica. Piccolo dettaglio, grande impatto su chi gioca aggressivo. Bonus secondario, ma elegantemente integrato.

Posso giocare a questa espansione senza avere Nemesis: Retaliation?
No. La Stretch Goals Box è un'espansione, non uno standalone. Per giocare serve una copia di Nemesis: Retaliation, che fornisce la mappa modulare, le regole base, i dadi, le plance e l'intera struttura di gioco. Questa box aggiunge contenuti, non li sostituisce.
Vale davvero la pena rispetto al gioco base?
Dipende da quante partite hai già fatto. Se hai aperto Retaliation tre volte e non hai ancora visto tutti i personaggi, è prematuro. Se hai giocato dieci partite e cominciano a sembrare simili, la Stretch Goals Box è il modo più sostanziale di rinnovare il gioco: nuova razza, NPC mai visto, nuovi personaggi. Non è "qualche carta in più" — sono tre moduli indipendenti.
Devo attivare tutti e tre i moduli insieme?
No, ed è uno dei punti forti del design. Puoi accendere solo il Neoflesh Cult per cambiare i nemici, solo l'Affiliato per aggiungere imprevedibilità narrativa, o solo i nuovi personaggi per integrarli nelle partite normali. La scatola si adatta al tipo di sessione che vuoi giocare quella sera.
Il Culto Neoflesh è più difficile della razza base?
È diverso, e diverso nelle prime partite si traduce in più difficile perché le tattiche apprese non funzionano. I Delver Shield richiedono attacchi di fianco, gli Esplosori puniscono il movimento in gruppo, i Cultisti convertono i tuoi compagni feriti. Dopo due o tre partite il livello si stabilizza, ma resta tatticamente più impegnativo.
L'Affiliato come funziona esattamente?
È il primo NPC autonomo della saga Nemesis. Una miniatura controllata dal mazzo di carte Evento e Esplorazione dedicate, non da un giocatore. Si muove in base a regole proprie, può modificare missioni in corso, può aiutarti o ostacolarti senza preavviso. Aggiunge una terza forza al tavolo che non è né alieno né marine.
È compatibile con Nemesis classico o Lockdown?
No. La Stretch Goals Box è progettata specificamente per Nemesis: Retaliation e usa le sue meccaniche aggiornate (sistema salute, traccia oggetti, eventi missione). Per espansioni della trilogia classica esistono prodotti dedicati pubblicati da Awaken Realms.
