Magic Number Eleven is a board game for 2 players (30 min) that turns a football match into a tactical puzzle: you are the coach, the other is the opponent, and each card placed is a strategic choice.
The feeling is one of "reasoned football": build combinations, read the pitch, and choose when to take risks. Because here, goals aren't just about power... they're about precision , timing, and composure when the outcome hangs on a card.
Each turn, you place a Player card on the pitch and combine tactical icons (Attack, Defense, Pass, Pressing) to create increasingly powerful patterns. These icons allow you to attempt shots, draw Synergy cards, and push for control: Synergies represent teamwork and can enhance decisive play.
The highlight is shooting: you compare Attack and Defense, but there's always at least one unknown Synergy that makes everything a clever push your luck . If you roll exactly 11 , it's “Magic Number” (Wonder Goal): no defense. If you go over 11… no goal. And to complete the package, the base is also available with the Magic Number Eleven: GK Expansion , which adds goalkeepers.
