Solitary dungeon crawler, quests, skill growth and risk management.
1) You start as a Plague Doctor and set the mission in the infected region
You're the only healer left to defend the contaminated land. You prepare your setup with a map, initial quests, enemies, and starting resources. Your goal is to survive long enough to complete all the required healing, while the landscape becomes more hostile with each turn.
2) Each turn you explore, move or search for essential resources
Choose whether to proceed across the map, investigate, search for useful materials, meet characters, or face events. Your choice of action determines the dangers you'll face: each step can lead to a valuable discovery or a sudden battle that consumes your energy and time.
3) Missions define narrative development and risk
Each quest requires a specific goal: collecting rare herbs, saving the sick, completing rituals, healing villages, or passing skill tests. Completing a quest means gaining upgrades, new abilities, or access to deeper areas, but failure can make the region even more dangerous.
4) Fight monsters and bandits using skills, equipment and tactical choices
Hostile encounters test your health, defense, and resources. You must decide whether to engage enemies directly, avoid them, use newly unlocked abilities, or exploit the terrain to gain an advantage. Each encounter weakens you, but it can also help you level up to face greater threats.
5) Character growth and end game
As you progress through the game, you improve your skills, healing, tools, resistance, and medical knowledge. The game ends with thehealing of the regionor with thefinal failureIf corruption overwhelms or the Plague Doctor falls to the ravages of darkness, only a balanced management of courage and prudence leads to victory.
