HOW TO PLAYFORMIDABLE FARM
Managing requests, agricultural exchanges and racing to satisfy the village.
1) You leave without knowing the village's precise requests
At the beginning of the market day, establishhow many total requestsyou will need to complete, but you don't know the details yet.
The requests are discoveredone at a time, creating a surprising progression that requires constant adaptation.
2) Complete the requests by providing what the village asks for
Each requested card indicatesan agricultural product to be delivered: if you can provide it, you get itan immediate reward.
The typical example is:give the tomatoes → receive two sacks of wheat.
The logic is:produce, deliver, improve your equipment.
3) Rewards are not just resources: they can generate new demands
Some exchanges createcascading effects: for example, fulfilling a request could transform resourcesin animalsorunlock information on three more future requests.
Resource management then becomesplanning + tactical opportunism.
4) If you can't meet a request, you can go to the market
If you're missing something, you can make extra tradesto the market to get what you need.
Additionally, each completed request can bespending as a benefit, allowing you to increase your chances of completing the next ones.
5) End of game and victory
The game ends whena player completes all the requests firstplanned at the beginning of the day.
Whoever succeeds achieves victory andfinish the work before the others, ideally leaving the field with a smile.
