FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
An eyeless alien that hunts by sound. Huge snakes under the sand. And you, alone in the middle of nowhere.
What it's about
Survive in silence or die in the Utopia desert
Utopia. No one lives there by choice — it's just the place down the road, where people are outnumbered by everything else. One day an alien pod lands on the outskirts and from then on, making noise means death. The Eyeless has no eyes: it hears every sound, every step, every gunshot. And under the sand, asleep for a million years, giant snakes are about to awaken.
Final Girl: Don't Make a Sound is a Feature Film Box expansion for the Final Girl system by A.J. Porfirio and Evan Derrick, published by Van Ryder Games. It brings you two exclusive Final Girls — Meghan and Ronda — the Utopia location, and the killer The Eyeless, each with their own cards, tokens, and rules.
⚠️ Requires the Final Girl Core Box to play. This box is not a standalone game — it's a Feature Film that combines with the Core Box. The Core Box contains all the dice, core mechanics, and shared materials of the system.
From the Final Girl system
A horror movie in a box. Each game is a different story — same protagonist, fate always hanging in the balance.
Final Girl's secret in one line
It's not enough to survive — you have to do it in silence. And the sand beneath you is already trembling.
From the gameplay experience
Final Girl: Don't Make a Sound
Designed exclusively for one player — it's not an add-on, it's the system's DNA.
Your Arsenal
What you'll find in this Feature Film Box
2 Exclusive Final Girls
Meghan and Ronda, each with unique abilities and different play styles. Change the protagonist, change the approach.
The Eyeless
A blind alien killer that hunts by sound. Every noise you make attracts it towards you — managing noise is surviving.
Giant Sand Snakes
A secondary threat that awakens during the game. As if The Eyeless wasn't enough, the very ground becomes your enemy.
Location: Utopia
A deserted town in the middle of nowhere. The map modifies gameplay — each location in the Final Girl system creates different dynamics.
In a few hours, you'll know if you managed to survive in silence. Most of the time you don't — but you start again immediately.

What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Utopia. No one should be here
Choose your Final Girl, set up the Utopia map, place the victims. Everything seems quiet. The alien pod is on the edge of the board. The Eyeless isn't moving yet. But you already feel something is wrong — the ground barely vibrates.
The first victim falls and the monster hears
The first Terror card comes into play. A victim screams — The Eyeless orients itself. Your turn: you play cards, roll dice, carefully choose each action. Making too much noise now can cost you dearly. Making too little leaves you behind. You start to sweat.
The snakes awaken beneath you
You were almost gaining ground — then the event card makes the sand vibrate. Giant snakes emerge. Now you have two threats to manage simultaneously. The Eyeless on one side, the snakes on the other, and you in the middle with an increasingly thin deck of cards.
Now or never
You've collected enough items. You know where The Eyeless is. Your plan is ready — but the dice know nothing about your plan. That moment when you stake everything on one roll, praying for the right symbols, is the heart of the Final Girl system. Real fear. Around a table, alone.
Survived. Or almost.
The game ends — won or lost. If you won, you want to do it again immediately on the highest difficulty. If you lost, you want to do it again immediately for revenge. In both cases, you put everything back in the box with that rare feeling: it was worth every minute.
How to play
The flow of each round
Three repeating phases. You learn it in ten minutes, master it in three games — but you won't stop losing right away.
You play cards from your hand and roll horror dice to activate their powers. Each card has a time cost — and time is the scarcest resource. Move, explore, attack, search for items.
With the remaining time, you purchase new, more powerful cards from the market. Build your deck for the next phases — choose between immediate action and long-term investment.
The killer acts. A Terror card is revealed: The Eyeless moves, hunts, attacks victims. The Bloodlust level rises. The more victims fall, the more dangerous the monster becomes.
In Don't Make a Sound, giant snakes act independently during certain events. A secondary threat that can change the entire plan in just one turn.
Why it's different from the others
Six mechanics that make a difference
Noise as a resource
You can't do anything without consequences. Shooting is loud, running is loud. Every action has a sound cost — and The Eyeless hears everything.
Hand + dice management
You don't just roll and suffer — you build a deck during the game itself. The combination of hand management and dice creates a different puzzle every time.
Ever-rising Bloodlust Track
Every fallen victim empowers the killer. You can't let them all die — but saving them all is impossible. Choose who to sacrifice.
Exclusive double threat
The giant snakes are unique to this Feature Film Box. They don't replace The Eyeless — they add to it. The board becomes a two-level minefield.
Guaranteed emergent narrative
The rulebook itself encourages you to interpret each roll as a scene from the movie. Absurd things happen — and that's the point. Every game is an unpredictable story.
Infinitely modular
This Feature Film Box mixes with all other boxes in the system. The Eyeless in another location, another Final Girl in Utopia. The combinations multiply every purchase.
How it ends
One way to win, a thousand to lose
Final Girl is a difficult game by design. It's not a flaw — it's the source of all the satisfaction when you finally succeed.
Victory
- Eliminate The Eyeless before the victims run out or your Final Girl dies
- Each Final Girl has slightly different victory conditions — read her special cards
- Winning on the highest difficulty is a rare feat. Celebrate.
Defeat
- Your Final Girl is killed by The Eyeless or the snakes
- All victims are eliminated and Bloodlust exceeds the critical threshold
- You're not eliminated immediately — you fight to the last breath
Final Girl: Don't Make a Sound is one of the most thematic scenarios in the system. Tremors, A Quiet Place, and pure tabletop horror — all in a compact box.
Frequently asked questions
FAQ about Final Girl: Don't Make a Sound
Can I play without other Feature Film Boxes?
Yes — you only need the Core Box and this Feature Film Box. They are enough to start playing. Additional Feature Film Boxes enrich the system with new combinations, but are not necessary to fully enjoy Don't Make a Sound.
Is it really as difficult as they say? Can I adjust the challenge?
Yes, it's difficult — but the system offers different difficulty levels that you can modify before starting. The first few games are almost always losses, and that's normal. The learning curve is part of the design: winning a difficult game of Final Girl is a genuine, unearned satisfaction.
Can two people play in turns?
The game is designed for one player only. Many people play it with two by making decisions together for a single Final Girl — it works well as a shared experience. However, there is no official cooperative mode for two independent players.
What are the giant snakes and how do they change the game?
The snakes are an additional threat exclusive to this Feature Film Box, directly inspired by the movie Tremors. They awaken during certain events and move independently of The Eyeless. They don't replace the main killer — they add to it, creating situations where you have to manage two fronts simultaneously.
Can I use this Feature Film Box with other systems or is it exclusive to Final Girl?
It is exclusive to the Final Girl system by Van Ryder Games. It is not compatible with other games. Within the system, however, you can freely mix killers, locations, and Final Girls from different boxes — one of the strengths of the format.
Is it available in Italian?
This is the English edition. The mechanics are visual enough to be understandable even without perfect English, but card and event texts are in English. Good knowledge of the language helps to grasp the full narrative of the game.
