In medieval England there is no “right move.”
There is a move that keeps you standing when others decide to hit you.
You lead a family, not a color.
And a family is built with three things:
stocks, money… and fear.
You sit at the table and immediately understand the tone: Here the alliance is not a pact of friendship, it is a coin. A marriage can save you today and condemn you tomorrow. A title gives you a voice, but puts a target on your back.
Meanwhile, the map doesn't wait. Cities to occupy, taxes to squeeze, abbeys and mills to fuel your engine. And when the money arrives, the nasty question also arises: do you spend it to grow… or to corrupt?
