In Disney Villainous – Treacherous Tides the power flows like the tide: choose between Davy Jones (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Tamatoa (Moana) and completes your unique objective before your opponent. Each turn you move your character, execute location actions and play cards to push your plan… while your rival try to sink it with the Fate Deck .
It's a family board game that's tight and just the right amount of naughty: hand management , asymmetric powers and continuous twists. With Fate you cover the other's actions, you invoke Heroes and Effects taken from his film and force him to deviate from his course. Want to win? Know your deck, read your opponent's, strike when it hurts the most.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
The Disney villains are back on the attack
In Treacherous Tides, players take on the roles of two new villains: Davy Jones, the fearsome lord of the seas from Pirates of the Caribbean , and Tamatoa, the giant glittering crab from Moana . Each has a unique board, deck, and destiny to fulfill.
Move and act
Each turn, you move your miniature to a new area of the board and perform the available actions: play cards, gain power, move allies, or draw new resources. Your cards can be allies, items, effects, or conditions, all of which can help you get closer to victory.
Asymmetric objectives
Each villain wins differently: Davy Jones must dominate the seas and conquer souls, while Tamatoa aims to collect treasure and power. Understanding how to maximize your path is the key to defeating your opponents.
The Fate Deck
One of the action spaces allows you to draw from an opponent's Fate deck and place heroes or effects that hinder their plan. Characters from Disney stories thus enter the game as annoying obstacles, blocking actions and reversing situations.
Autonomous but compatible
Treacherous Tides can be played on its own as a standalone set, but is also fully compatible with all other games in the Disney Villainous line, allowing you to stage epic clashes between villains from different worlds.

The sea grows dark, the music turns sinister, and your soul prepares to sail treacherous waters. In Disney Villainous: Treacherous Tides , take control of an iconic villain of the Disney seas and write your own story… one where good doesn't always win.
You can become the fearsome Davy Jones , ruling the seas and unleashing the Kraken, or the vain Tamatoa , ready to shine brightest as he seeks power and treasure.
Each villain has their own deck, board, token, and unique victory condition , in a challenge of strategy, sabotage, magical items, and low blows.
All in classic Villainous style: elegant, asymmetrical, just the right amount of evil. Play this box on its own, or mix it with other games in the series for an epic villain crossover.

Disney Villainous: Treacherous Tides is a 2-player asymmetric strategy board game (expandable with other sets), introducing two new Disney villains: Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean and Tamatoa from Moana .
Like every title in the Villainous line, each player will have to move on their own personal board, playing cards, summoning allies and hindering the opponent with the destiny deck.
The goal is simple: reach your villain's unique victory condition before your opponent does. But the journey will be filled with unexpected twists, sabotage, and memorable moments.
Perfect for both those new to Villainous and dedicated collectors, Treacherous Tides is a standalone expansion compatible with all previous Disney Villainous releases.

If you're a Disney fan or a lover of asymmetrical games, Treacherous Tides is an irresistible addition to the collection. Davy Jones offers more cumbersome but epic gameplay , while Tamatoa offers a faster, smarter, and more devious challenge .
The art style is always gorgeous, the quality of the components is top notch, and the 3D miniatures are a feast for the eyes.
At FroGames we played it, replayed it, and mixed it with other villains, and each combination provided new thrills.
