Forget everything you know about trick-taking games. Crits & Tricks isn't your typical Briscola card game; it's a dungeon crawler disguised as a card game. Imagine sitting in a tavern, but instead of just playing cards, you roll polyhedral dice to determine the power of your attacks.
In this innovative hybrid of trick-taking and RPG , your cards define your class (Barbarian, Rogue, Wizard), but the dice you roll determine their value. You're no longer a slave to an unlucky hand: here, the strategy lies in how you assign your best (or worst) results at the right time.
Every hand is a quest, every grab is a fight. You must balance the greed for loot with the need to complete secret personal objectives. Do you want to win with a D4? Or would you rather lose on purpose to activate a Rogue ability? The choice is yours.
The atmosphere is epic, like that of a Role-Playing Game, with explosive crits and disastrous failures that change the course of the game in an instant. Prepare to bluff, calculate, and strike hard.

ROLL FOR INITIATIVE
The technical depth of Crits & Tricks lies in its "Suits & Skills" system. Unlike traditional games where the value is printed on the card, here you create the perfect card by pairing a Mercenary (the Suit) with one of your Dice (the Value).
The real stroke of genius is that the Lead Suit dictates the winning rule for that trick. If the Barbarian leads, the highest die wins. If the Rogue leads, the lowest wins. If the Wizard leads, the rules bend. This creates a dynamic flow where the strategy changes with every single hand.
