What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The heroes enter the dungeon
Choose your heroes, place the first tiles, watch the Vortex on the tracker. Everyone already has an idea of where they want to go. Some aim for the heart of the dungeon, some want to explore the edges first. The plan is already being debated before the first turn even begins.
The first tiles are revealed
Flip the first tile: enemies. Then another: a trap. Then the third: a game-changing reward. Someone powers up, someone fights. The Vortex has risen a level. The question is no longer where to go — it's how fast you need to do it.
The combo no one saw coming
One hero uses an elemental ability. Another powers it up during their own turn — that thing you can do even when it's not your turn, that changes everything. Three enemies fall in one action. The table pauses for a second. Then erupts in shouts. That combo becomes legend for the rest of the evening.
The Vortex tightens, the Tyrant waits
The Vortex tracker is now dangerous. You have almost all the power-ups you wanted, but not all. The debate is heated: do we approach now with what we have, or risk another round of exploration? This decision will define the game.
The final confrontation with the Tyrant
You're there. The boss is in front. Everyone knows what to do, everyone hopes the others do it at the right moments. Cooperation is total. Either the Tyrant falls and the Vortex stops — or the game ends with shouts, laughter, and the certainty that next time it will be different.
How to play
The flow of each round
Four repeating phases. Learned in five minutes, mastered in three games.
Heroes move through the dungeon. Each new tile discovered reveals enemies, dangers, rewards, or empty corridors — you never know the dungeon in advance.
Each hero uses their abilities: attack, gather resources, power up companions, or use elemental magic. You can also intervene during other players' turns.
Monsters move and attack according to simple, predictable rules. Good positioning makes the difference between an easy turn and a desperate situation.
The tracker rises. The higher it is, the more dangerous the Vortex becomes. There is no safe position — sooner or later you must face the Tyrant. Time does not wait.
