HOW TO PLAY BACKGAMMON PREPARATION The two challengers place their fifteen checkers on the board faithfully following the classic asymmetrical initial layout. Each participant receives two dice for movement and freely chooses the color of their tokens. THE TURN 1) The player whose turn it is rolls the two dice within their half of the board to accurately determine the currently available moves. 2) The numbers on the upper faces of the dice indicate how many spaces one or two independent checkers can be moved along the established horseshoe-shaped path. 3) If both dice randomly show the same numerical value, a double roll is obtained, and the available moves multiply to become four in total. 4) It is in no way possible to move or place a checker on a triangular point already firmly occupied by two or more checkers of the opposing side. THE DUEL AND BEARING OFF If a checker precisely ends its move on a point occupied by only one isolated opposing piece, it instantly captures it and sends it back to the central dividing bar. Before making any other normal move on the board, the player who has been hit must mandatorily re-enter the checker into play starting from the opponent's home board. Once all of one's checkers have been courageously brought into the last quadrant of their path, they begin to be definitively borne off the active game. The player who manages to bear off all of their checkers from the board before their direct rival unequivocally wins.
