20 Strong: Etherfields brings the 20 Strong system into the surreal dreamscape of Awaken Realms. The hero moves through a constantly shifting dream map, creating unique connections between rooms and spending resources to unlock special actions in evocative environments.
The most unique mechanic is this: cards are flipped during the game — and remain flipped in future sessions. Your deck becomes the sum of your choices, a personal object that no one else will ever have the same. Influence cards shape what is possible in the dream, increase your dice pool, and allow you to keep moving.
It's the most creative deck in the 20 Strong universe. Actions can be used whenever you want, without rigid phases. And the bosses are hidden — you have to discover them, one by one, over the course of multiple games, to truly complete Etherfields.

The deck evolves
Cards are flipped during the game — and stay that way in subsequent sessions. Your deck is different from everyone else's.
The map that forms
The hero moves through evocative rooms, creating new connections each turn. The dream landscape changes as you cross it.
Influence cards
They shape what is possible in the dream. Spending influence increases the dice pool and allows you to keep moving — managing it is the game.
Hidden bosses
You don't discover all bosses in one game. You have to play many to reveal them all — and defeat them all. Etherfields is a long experience.
You flip a new card. Then another. At the end of the game, your deck is no longer what you started with — and you're already thinking about the next session.

20 Strong: Etherfields is an expansion deck for the 20 Strong system. To play it, you need the basic components of the system: 20 custom dice, a magnetic tracker chip, and the general rulebook. These are found in any 20 Strong Core Box — for example, Nemesis, Tanglewoods, Too Many Bones, or Hoplomachus.
If this is your first time entering the system, we recommend starting with the 20 Strong Awaken Realms bundle or a separate Core Box. If you already have one, this deck directly adds to your collection.

Se è la prima partita, il mazzo è nuovo. Se è la quinta, contiene già le carte che hai girato nelle sessioni precedenti — e quelle carte ti ricordano chi eri allora. Cominci a muovere l'eroe tra le stanze, le prime connessioni si formano, il sogno si apre.

In fondo al mazzo si rivela uno dei boss nascosti di Etherfields. Non sapevi che quello specifico boss fosse lì — non era in nessuna regola, era il sogno che te lo rivelava. Ora devi affrontarlo con le risorse che hai. O tornare alla prossima partita più preparato.
Chiudi il tuck box. Il mazzo non è più lo stesso.
La sessione finisce. Rimetti via le carte nella tuck box, ma lasciate come sono: le carte girate restano girate. Il tuo mazzo è cambiato per sempre, ed è diverso dal mazzo di qualsiasi altro giocatore di Etherfields nel mondo. È tuo.

Il ciclo di ogni turno
Etherfields non ha fasi rigide come gli altri deck. Ogni turno è un flusso di movimento, influenza e decisioni — il ritmo lo detti tu.
L'eroe si sposta tra le stanze del sogno, creando connessioni uniche. Ogni stanza è una carta con azioni speciali, evocative, diverse ogni volta.
Le carte influenza modellano ciò che è possibile nel sogno. Spenderle aumenta il pool di dadi, ti permette di attivare azioni altrimenti bloccate.
Non c'è un ordine obbligato. Decidi tu quando muovere, quando attaccare, quando spendere influenza. È il deck più creativo della linea 20 Strong.
Alcune carte si girano durante il gioco. Non rimetterle al posto originale — il sogno ha deciso. Le troverai diverse alla prossima sessione.
