The FroGames Card
You roll the dice. You challenge your sister to a staring contest. She wins. Then it's your turn: a physical challenge, and this time you come out on top. In ten minutes, no one will remember the score, only the faces.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
A hundred ways to challenge anyone on anything
Game Off comes from Gamely Ltd, a small Brighton-based company specializing in party games that make you laugh even before you explain the rules. No star designers, no eurogame legacy: here the goal is to make a mess, judge each other, and find out who in the family truly has ice in their veins.
Each round, two players challenge each other in a micro-challenge drawn from five decks (Body, Mind, Skill, Courage, Luck), while the rest of the group watches and declares the winner. The first to collect one card per category becomes champion. Challenges last seconds, laughter minutes, memories hours.
What they say abroad
"Players go head-to-head in over 100 unique mini-games, testing their body, mind, skill, courage and luck."

— Gamely Ltd
It's a game that lives in the moment: ten seconds of embarrassment, thirty of applause, and then on to the next victim. It doesn't seek depth, it seeks red faces and quick wit. First reading, August 2026.

Game Off
Five categories, infinite gaffes
The decks that decide your fate
Body
Quick physical challenges: balance an object, do ten push-ups, dance for twenty seconds without laughing. Reflexes and boldness win.
Mind
Quizzes, memory games, quick riddles. Not Trivial Pursuit: here, it's about who answers first, not who knows everything.
Skill
Aim, precision, coordination. Throw a ball, build a tower, hit a target. Small gestures, great humiliations.
Courage
Calibrated embarrassment: sing, act, make a silly voice. Not dangerous, just mortifying enough.
🎲How to playThe rules in four steps▼
How to play
The flow of each round
Everything revolves around a very simple mechanic: challenge, perform, judge, repeat.
The active player rolls to find out who to challenge. The dice decide, you perform.
The challenger chooses one of the five decks (Body, Mind, Skill, Courage, Luck) and draws a card. The challenge is read aloud.
The two players perform the challenge simultaneously or in turns, depending on the card. The rest of the group watches and takes note.
The spectators declare the winner. The winner keeps the card. The first to collect a card for each category wins the game.
⏱️Your first gameThe chronicle, moment by moment▼
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Launch and nervous laughter
Decks are formed by category, someone rolls the dice to choose who to challenge. The first cards are drawn, the challenge is read aloud. Already here someone laughs, because they know what's about to happen.
The first victim
Two players stand up, the challenge is a ridiculous physical test. One wins, the other protests but the group has already voted. The first card is collected. The ice is broken, now anything goes.
Escalation
Challenges accumulate, some are ahead, some behind. The dice always hit the wrong person at the wrong time. Zero strategy, maximum chaos, continuous laughter.
The memorable moment
Someone draws an impossible courage challenge, does it anyway, loses badly but with honor. The table erupts. This is what you'll remember, not who's winning.
Victory (or not)
Someone completes the five categories and wins. Applause, protests, immediate request for a rematch. Total time: thirty minutes. Desire to do it again: instantaneous.
🐸What to know beforehandThree honest things, from friends▼
What to know beforehand
Three things you need to know
You need the right group
It doesn't work with shy people or those who don't want to get involved. If there's even one person at the table who gets easily embarrassed, the game gets stuck. Better to know this beforehand.
Replayability over time
Over 100 challenges seem like a lot, but after a few games with the same group, you'll start seeing the same cards again. It works better as a game to bring out occasionally, not every week.
Stated age vs. real age
It says 7+, and technically that's true: the rules are immediate. But the best experience is with kids aged 10 and up and adults willing to make fools of themselves. Too young and the right kind of mischief is missing.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The first to collect one card from each of the five categories wins. Simple, brutal, immediate.
Victory
- Collect a card from the Body deck by winning a physical challenge
- Collect a card from the Mind, Skill, Courage, and Luck decks
- First to complete all five categories wins the game
Defeat
- Lose a challenge, the card goes to your opponent
- The group votes against you (even tactically)
- Finish the game without having completed all categories
Game Off is not a deep game. It doesn't try to be. It's organized chaos, calibrated embarrassment, and the perfect excuse to find out who among your friends is truly fearless.

FAQ about Game Off
Does it really work with 99 players?
Technically yes, practically no. The ideal number is 4-8 players: enough for a jury, not too many to make each turn last forever. With huge groups, it becomes an endless wait.
Do the challenges require extra materials?
It depends on the card. Many challenges are done only with cards and body, others require common objects (glass, pen, paper, small ball). Nothing crazy, but keep some household items handy.
What mechanics does Game Off use?
No classic hobby mechanics: it's a pure party game based on real-time challenges, group voting, and set collection (one card per category). Everything revolves around the physical or mental execution of mini-challenges.
Is it suitable for young children?
The stated age is 7+, and the rules are immediate. But the best experience is for kids aged 10 and up and adults: a minimum of healthy competitiveness and a willingness to make fun of themselves are needed. Too young and the right kind of mischief is missing.
Is it available in Italian?
This edition is in English. The challenges are described on the cards in English, but many are visual or physical and easily understood even without perfect language proficiency.
