🐸 How pre-orders work

The FroGames sheet
Tourists arrive, the weather goes crazy, and you still have to pay the Crows. But if you win the turnip race, maybe you'll make it.
WHAT IT IS
Five modules for an unpredictable Harvest Festival
Turnips & Turnstiles is the first expansion for The Crows of Coppershell Bay, the only narrative game in a tin by David Simpson and Paul Stapleton. We return to the coastal town of Coppershell Bay during the Harvest Festival: tourists, bizarre weather, growing contests, and Rootwing races. The expansion introduces 5 new modules playable individually or combined, plus characters, missions, locations, and fairground games.
The weather changes your options. Tourists challenge you to play in unusual ways and reward you with Gifts. You can bet on the vegetable growing contest or help your boss win the Great Root Race. Two new locations that can also be visited at night. Each module plugs into the base game loop: three days to earn enough, now with new ways to do it and new obstacles along the way.
What they say abroad
"It's the Harvest Festival and the streets are filled with tourists eager to participate in the famous vegetable race. You've been hired as a tour guide, what a pain: you still have to scrape together the money you owe the Crows."
— Bedsit Games
This is a first impression based on the official materials. The game will arrive in spring 2027: we'll update the sheet with play impressions as soon as we get our hands on the tin.

Turnips & Turnstiles
Expansion for a game designed for solo play. Adds modules that plug into the base game's day/night cycle: weather that limits actions, tourists who challenge your style, races and bets that last all three days.
What's in the tin
The five modules of the Festival
Weather Deck
Strange weather conditions that block certain actions until you resolve the tokens. Unpredictable and tactical: choose when to face them.
Tourists & Gifts
Tourists who challenge you to play in unusual ways (strange draws, particular timing) and reward you with Gifts. More risk, more reward.
Growing Contest
Three-day vegetable growing contest. You can bet: high risk, high reward. Your debt to the Crows or a sudden fortune.
Great Root Race
Rootwing race that takes place over the three days. Help your boss's Rootwing finish first: if it wins, you win too.
Conta Gemme, mangia, lavora turni extra.

L'esperienza.
Scegli i moduli e prepara il mazzo
Decidi quali moduli combinare.
Hai 30 Gemme.

The Crows of Coppershell Bay (base game) è obbligatorio.
Come finisce
Obiettivi e rischi

Posso usare solo alcuni moduli dell'espansione o devo usarli tutti?
Puoi combinarli liberamente. L'espansione è modulare: Weather, Tourists & Gifts, Growing Contest, Great Root Race e Folklore sono moduli indipendenti giocabili singolarmente o combinati come preferisci.
Tendenzialmente aumentano.
L'espansione aggiunge: eventi meteo che limitano azioni, sfide dai turisti (forced play styles), scommesse multi-giorno.
Quando esce l'espansione?
Prevista per la primavera 2027 (aprile-maggio). Attualmente in preordine.
È disponibile in italiano? Serve sapere l'inglese?
L'edizione in vendita è in inglese.
Disponibile su FroGames.it.
