🌲🍃 Reforest – Plants, synergies, and an ecosystem that grows paper by paper
|
Reforest – Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast is a strategic card board game (1–4) where you build the healthiest forest by creating a tableau of plants that enhance each other. It's easy to learn, but full of clever little choices that make a difference. Here you're not just collecting cards: you're creating an ecosystem. Place the right plant, at the right level, and suddenly everything fits together: points, abilities, combinations, and that feeling of "OK, this forest is working." Each turn, you choose between two essential actions: draw or play a plant. The cards are multipurpose because you pay for them by discarding others as "nutrients," and space is limited: you can grow tall plants on top of pioneer species, speeding up your construction when needed. At the end of the round, animal visitors arrive and reward whoever created the best habitat (flowers, fruit, and the like): this is where the game really kicks into high gear. Perfect as a solo board game , but also great for 2–4 players for a quick, clean, and super "green" challenge. In Reforest you don't "score points": you grow a forest that finally seems alive.

Why Reforest is so enjoyable to play
Synergies that grow card after card.

🎯 COME SI GIOCA
🧤 BUSTINE
You don't "play cards." You rebuild an ecosystem. And every choice leaves a trace.
At first it's just silence.
A bare piece of land, ready to take its breath away.
Then choose the first plant.
Small. Humble. But it's already a sign: here we begin again.
In Reforest you build a forest like you build a story: one thing at a time, with patience and intuition. It's not enough to simply plant greenery. We need harmony. We need to fit together. We need to understand who can grow... and who must give way to something greater.
Every card you lay down is a promise:
“If I plant this today, tomorrow it will repay me.”
And meanwhile, your tableau becomes a real landscape: levels, balance, nutrients, choices that smell of strategy but remain light, clean, satisfying.
Then they arrive: the visitors.
You don't control them. You attract them. You deserve them.
And when you finally look at your complete forest, a strange thing happens:
You're not counting points. You're thinking, "How cool, I made him live."
Reforest is a strategic card game that puts you at the center of creating an ecosystem: you select plants, grow them intelligently, and build synergies that feed off each other. At the table, you experience the typical satisfaction of a "light" engine: every choice can become valuable later, especially when you learn to manage space and resources wisely. It's an ideal board game if you love the feeling of growth, optimization, and clean combos, but also want a truly tangible atmosphere and theme: a forest that changes under your hands and attracts visitors only if you've created the right habitat. The strategy here isn't aggressive: it's elegant. And when everything clicks into place, you'll want to do it again right away.
What makes Reforest a unique board game?
First you cry, then you understand
Reforest makes you a simple promise: if you play with instinct, you'll have a nice forest.
If you play with vision, you will have a forest that works for you.
The nice part is that you don't have to do a thousand calculations.
You have to observe: which plants help each other? Which ones open up paths? Which ones are just taking up space?
And at a certain point it happens: you start to think like nature.
You don't "lay out cards." You create conditions.
When the forest holds
When you get to the end and visitors find a home in your ecosystem, you feel the difference:
You didn't win because you were fast or because you pushed.
You won because you built something that holds up.
