🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Two factions, one destiny.
In Ironwood , two worlds collide: on one side, the Ironclads , mechanical miners hell-bent on transforming mountains into steel forges; on the other, the Woodwalkers , forest spirits who move in the shadows. The battlefield is a modular map of the territory, divided into mountains and forests, where each faction has privileged areas and entirely different victory conditions.
2. Cards at the heart of the conflict.
Each round is played in alternating turns, with each player taking three cards from their faction-specific deck. Cards can be used for tactical actions (movement, extraction, bonuses, etc.) or alternatively as combat points during battles. Each choice represents an opportunity... or a trap.
3. When you fight, you bet everything.
Combat occurs when two enemy warbands occupy the same space. Both players secretly play a card to determine their Dominance value. The winner deals damage and can change the fate of the territory. Every war has its price, but here, area control is everything.
4. Opposing goals, unique strategies.
Commander Ironclad must build three forges after mining crystals and establishing bases. Chieftain Woodwalker , on the other hand, must find and recover three ancient hidden totems using Visions. Each faction has its own game language, cards, abilities, objectives, and even favorite map sections.
5. One on one... or alone.
Ironwood is designed for strategic two-player duels, but also includes a low-maintenance solo mode against unique AI for each faction. The system is simple to manage, yet full of tension and important decisions. The eternal conflict is about to end. The question is: who will decide?

A 2-player board game with total asymmetry and tactical combat
Ironwood is a board game for 1-2 players set in a fantasy world divided between machines and nature. Two completely asymmetrical factions compete with unique decks, opposing objectives, and card-driven strategy .
If you play as the Ironclads, you must mine crystals and build mechanical forges. If you choose the Woodwalkers, you must collect hidden totems and summon an ancient entity.
A fast-paced yet deep game, perfect for those who love head-to-head combat, brutal choices, and mounting tension . A solo mode is also included, with custom AI for each faction.
