🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose a faction with asymmetric powers
One player leads the Harkonnens with military might and resources, while the other controls the Atreides and Fremen, exploiting mobility, guerilla warfare, and connectivity to the desert. Each faction has completely different goals and strategies.
2. Use the action dice to plan each move
At the start of each round, you roll special dice that determine which actions you can take: move troops, attack, gather spices, or build bases. Dice management is essential to optimizing your tactical choices.
3. Control key territories and collect spice
To win, you must capture strategic points like Sietches and harvest spice efficiently. Field battles and control of the economy are at the heart of the conflict.
4. Beware of the storm and the terrain
Each round, the storm shifts across the map, destroying exposed units and blocking movement. Anticipating and exploiting the ever-changing map is crucial to survival and attacking with precision.
5. Reach your unique victory condition
The Harkonnens win by reaching a certain number of supremacy points, while the Atreides/Fremen must complete specific narrative objectives. The game ends when one faction achieves its goal before the other.
