🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. A chase through the streets of Elizabethan London.
In Black Sonata, you're on the trail of the mysterious Dark Lady from Shakespeare's sonnets, a figure shrouded in allure and mystery. Your mission is to travel through 17th-century London, following her secret movements, to catch her in the act and gather clues to her identity.
2. The Dark Lady's secret movement.
A specially arranged deck of cards secretly determines where the Lady will move. You don't know the route, but you can deduce it by carefully observing your movement options and matching clues. Each turn, you decide where to move within the city, trying to anticipate her next destination.
3. Interception and collection of evidence.
When you think you're in the same location as the Dark Lady, you can attempt an interception. If successful, you'll get a clue that brings you closer to her true identity. But be careful: the more clues you gather, the harder it will be to track her, as her movements will become increasingly elusive.
4. Deduction, logic and a pinch of luck.
To win, it's not enough to just find her: you also have to correctly deduce who the Dark Lady is using all the clues you've gathered. The game forces you to balance the time spent following her with the time spent reasoning through the evidence, without ever losing its pace.
