The FroGames Card
Roll the dice. Choose where to place them: attack, defense, life, ability. The Overlord attacks. If you survive, open another seal. If not, humanity ends here.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
Seven seals between you and final judgment
7th Seal is a game by Julio Falagán, illustrated by Will Kirkby, which Devir brings to its 2026 catalog in LongPack format (compact box, vertical components). The theme draws from various cultural mythologies: deities, beasts, and demons of chaos and destruction that a Supreme Being unleashes upon humanity. Your task is to open the seven seals of an ancient scroll and survive the trial.
At the table, you manage dice: you roll them, assign the results to cards to attack, defend, recover life, or activate abilities. Each turn, you face an Overlord and their Minions. If you kill the Minions, you take their dice and a one-shot ability. Then it's the enemy's turn: the boss attacks, remaining Minions attack. If your life dice reach zero, you lose. If you survive four waves and defeat the last boss, you save humanity.
What they say abroad
A game that promises challenge and increasing tension, where every die truly counts. We'll see if it lives up to expectations upon release.

7th Seal
7th Seal is designed exclusively for solo play. No automa: it's just you against a hand of enemy cards that activate automatically. The experience is complete and designed for this format, with no multiplayer compromises.
What you have before you
Components of a pocket apocalypse
Scroll of Seals
Seven levels to open. Each open seal brings you closer to the final confrontation, but first you must survive the current wave.
Dice Pool
You roll yours, assign the results. If you kill Minions, you steal their dice and enlarge your pool. More dice, more options.
Overlords and Minions
Four bosses, each with their henchmen. They attack automatically at the end of the turn. If you don't stop them, they'll bite you.
Life Dice
Your hit points. When they reach zero, it's all over. There are no saves, no continues.

The flow of each turn
A turn lasts two minutes. Roll, choose, suffer, survive.
Roll all the dice you have in your pool. The result determines what you can do this turn.
Place dice on your action cards: attack, defense, life recovery, special abilities. Each card requires specific results or combinations.
Perform actions: deal damage to enemies, defend yourself, recover life. If you kill a Minion, take its die and a one-time ability.
Remaining Minions and the Overlord activate their abilities and hit you. Reduce your life dice. If they reach zero, you lose. Otherwise, you play another turn.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The first seal opens
You draw the cards of the first Overlord and Minions. You line them up. You roll the dice. You have few options and a lot of life. You think: "Easy." It isn't.
You attack, but it's not enough
You allocate the dice on the cards: attack, defense, ability. You kill a Minion. You steal its die, you gain a one-time ability. Then it's the boss's turn: it hits hard. Your life dice decrease. You realize you can't ignore the Minions.
The second seal falls
You defeated the first boss. You gain a permanent ability. You open the second seal. The new Overlord is faster, meaner. The Minions have new abilities. You start counting dice again.
One life remaining
You are on the third wave. You have one life die left. You have to decide: do you attack the boss or kill the Minion that will hit you first? You make a mistake and it's over. You guess right and open the fourth seal.
The last Overlord
Fourth wave. The last boss. You have more dice than before, more abilities. But he also has everything. You roll, assign, pray. If you win, you have saved humanity. If you lose, you start over. And you will.

Good to know beforehand
Three things you need to know
You can plan all you want, but if you roll badly for two turns in a row, the boss will take you down. Luck matters. If you're looking for total control, this isn't your game.
A run lasts 30-45 minutes. You learn the rules in 10. The challenge is not in complexity, but in optimizing under pressure. A gateway solo game, not heavy.
Narrow vertical box, cards and dice. No boards, no miniatures. Compact but complete. If you're looking for deluxe production, look elsewhere.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Two possible outcomes. No middle ground.
Victory
- Survive all four waves
- Defeat the last Overlord
- Resolve all pending threats without your life dice reaching zero
Defeat
- Your life dice reach zero at any point in the game
- An enemy attack eliminates you before you can recover
- Time runs out (if playing with optional variants)
It's a puzzle that changes every time. Every die is a choice, every turn is a crossroads. And when you lose, you immediately want to play again.

FAQ about 7th Seal
What mechanics does 7th Seal use?
Dice rolling and dice allocation (you assign results to cards to activate actions), variable set-up (bosses and Minions change every game), resource management (life dice and a pool of dice stolen from enemies). It is a solo boss battler with a wave structure.
Is it difficult to learn?
No. The rules are streamlined: you roll dice, assign them to cards, resolve actions, the enemy attacks. You play the first game in 10 minutes. The challenge is tactical, not in the rules.
How long does a complete game last?
A run of the four waves lasts 30-45 minutes. You can also play single waves for 10-15 minute sessions. The game is designed to be quick and replayable.
Is it balanced or does it all depend on the dice?
Dice matter, but so does strategy. You can mitigate bad rolls by stealing dice from Minions, using special abilities, carefully choosing what to attack first. High luck, but not blind.
Is it available in Italian?
This is the English edition. The game will be published by Devir in a multilingual version (Spanish, Catalan, English, Portuguese, Italian according to official sources), with texts on the cards and rules in all included languages.
The people behind the game
Who invented it, who designed it, who publishes it — and what else they've done.
