HOW TO PLAY — 20 STRONG: TOO MANY BONES (in 5 points)

1) Prepare your mini-trip to the TMB Lands

Choose the deckToo Many Bones, shuffle the cards and set your20 diceof the 20 Strong system (base pool + stat dice). Each game is a compact run in the style of the original board game, with encounters, tyrants, and upgrades.

2) Take on the Encounters one at a time

Each card drawn is aEncounter: can offer you choices, clashes, immediate effects or increasing risks. The deck includes severalTyrant Encounters, which act as mini-bosses: face them to weaken the final tyrant… or skip them, making the final fight much tougher.

3) Roll the dice to overcome the challenge and use your Backup Plan

To resolve each Encounter, you roll a number of dice from your pool looking for successes.misswhat you get are not lost: you can save them in yourmini Backup Plan, a scaled-down version of the one in Too Many Bones that lets you activate special abilities at critical moments.

4) Manage pools, statistics and risk

Your three stats —HP,StrategyAndRecovery—regulate survival, rerolls, dice management, and run sustainability. Every roll is a tactical choice: spending a lot of dice can give you immediate success, but leaves you vulnerable in subsequent turns.

5) Face the final Tyrant with what you have left

After passing (or ignoring…) the deck's Encounters, theFinal TyrantThe difficulty depends directly on how many Tyrant Encounters you've avoided. If you win this final showdown, you'll complete your Too Many Bones adventure at 20 Strong.
