Within each game, you'll build a deck of challenges that require you to match skill cards to colors, roll dice to overcome obstacles, and manage exhaustion. 🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Tackle the Scorn Pit
The Seekers' party enters a pit of 57 challenge cards , with Scorn at the center dominating the Stockade. Challenges follow one after another until the final showdown.
2. Play color skill cards
Each challenge has a color, and you can only play one ability card of the same color to address it. Some cards are two-colored or white (wild cards) , offering more flexibility, but each choice must be carefully considered.
3. Advance between progress and penalties
If you don't defeat the challenge right away, you can still add progress tokens to defeat it later. But be careful: failures incur penalties , such as health loss or negative effects that slow the party down.
4. Collaborate, but with caution
Other Seekers can help by playing support cards like Boost , but exhausting your hand means drawing an Exhaustion card, which rarely brings good news. Collective resource management is key.
5. Survive until the fight with Scorn
Overcome challenges, earn rewards, and descend deeper and deeper until you face Scorn himself . Everyone shares the same health pool: if it reaches zero, the expedition fails. Only a united and persistent group can triumph.
