The FroGames Card
You're on the third take of the action scene. The budget is gone, the main actor forgot their lines, and the director wants more explosions. Someone calls the CGI department. Someone else prays the shot is salvageable.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
When comic book movies become the real problem on your set
Malachi Ray Rempen brings his Roll Camera! into the superhero universe with this thematic expansion. It doesn't change the base game, it transforms it: you find yourself working for Wonder Studios, the global hub of superhero cinema, where every scene requires more CGI, more effects, and more budget than you've ever seen before.
Your job isn't to make a good movie. It's to wrap up filming before the set collapses. This expansion adds 15 superhero-themed scenes, a new production company, specific equipment, and, most importantly, CGI tokens: a resource always needed but too expensive. You can play it as a standalone module or mix it with the base game to increase thematic variety.
What they say abroad
"Roll Camera! Story Packs give a little thematic cinematic boost to your madcap movie-making."
Roll Camera! Story Packs give a little thematic cinematic boost to your madcap movie-making.
— Keen Bean Studio
This is a module that promises to add narrative stress to the production chaos. The CGI tokens seem like a great idea to raise tension without overcomplicating the rules. The card will be updated when we have more community feedback.

Roll Camera!: Super Hero Story Pack
Roll Camera! has an official solo mode integrated into the base game. The Super Hero expansion works the same way: you manage the entire set alone, which increases control but also the cognitive load. The experience is complete, but it loses the chaotic overlapping voices typical of cooperative multiplayer.
Your superhero set
What's in the pack
15 Superhero Scenes
Scenes dedicated to the comic book movie genre: aerial chases, urban battles, dramatic monologues with capes. Each card brings specific requirements that evoke the blockbusters you know.
Wonder Studios
The new production company that changes the dynamics of the set. It gives you more power but demands more results. It's the name everyone knows, and everyone expects the highest standards.
5 CGI Tokens
The resource you always need. Every superhero scene requires special effects, and CGI tokens represent the visual budget you have to manage along with everything else. They run out quickly.
Script and Equipment
Modular scripts (top and bottom) and an equipment card dedicated to the theme. Narrative tools that help you build the structure of your blockbuster between problems.

How to Play
The flow of a turn with the expansion
Roll Camera! already has an established system. The expansion adds scenes and tokens, not new phases.
You draw or reveal scenes. If they are superhero scenes, you immediately see the CGI requirements. You decide with the table which scene to tackle and how to allocate resources.
Each player chooses a role (director, actor, crew) and places their die. If a scene requires CGI, you must have an available token or find a way to get one.
You roll the dice, apply equipment and script cards. CGI tokens are spent to complete superhero scenes: without them, those scenes remain blocked.
Production problems emerge. You have to decide whether to dedicate resources to solving them or focus on the scenes. CGI tokens don't come back: if used poorly, you'll miss them later.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table with superheroes
Not the rules. The experience.
Wonder Studios Setup
You draw the first scenes and realize that every card requires CGI. The table looks at each other: there are only 5 tokens, and many more scenes to film. Someone says "we're doing well" but no one really believes it.
First superhero scene
The first action scene goes into production. A CGI token is needed immediately, but it's also needed later. The discussion begins about when to spend them and when to save them. Meanwhile, the timer ticks on.
CGI Chaos
Halfway through the game: tokens run out sooner than expected. Someone has to rush to get more, but there are also normal scenes to close. The table is divided between those who save the superheroes and those who save the rest. No one is wrong.
The last impossible scene
The final scene is released: urban battle, effects upon effects, absurd demands. You have one CGI token and hope. Someone rolls the dice, someone else closes their eyes. The moment that decides everything in Roll Camera! is always this one.
Wrap or disaster
Either you've closed all scenes and can shout "it's a wrap!", or the film is incomplete and Wonder Studios fires you. In either case, you'll remember that impossible scene and how you tried to save it until the very end.

Base game required
This is a modular expansion. You cannot play without the Roll Camera! base game. You can use it as a standalone set by replacing some cards, or mix it with the main deck to increase variety. It is not stand-alone.
Thematic over mechanical
The expansion does not add strategic complexity. It adds flavour and narrative tension. If you are looking for new mechanics or tactical depth, this pack is not it. If you want your set to be about superheroes, it works.
CGI tokens are few
5 tokens for the entire game. Superhero scenes constantly require them. It's a constant and intentional pressure: you'll never have enough CGI. If this frustration bothers you, know that it's part of the design.
🏆Victory and DefeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
Victory or production failure
Roll Camera! has fixed conditions. The expansion doesn't change them, but it makes everything more difficult.
Victory
- Complete all required scenes for the film within the turn limit
- Manage CGI tokens without blocking critical superhero scenes
- Close production without bankrupting Wonder Studios
Defeat
- The timer runs out before completing all necessary scenes
- Accumulate too many unresolved problems and production collapses
- Run out of CGI tokens with superhero scenes still open and no way to retrieve them
This expansion doesn't revolutionize Roll Camera!, but it dresses it in a theme that works. If you want to bring capes and CGI to your set, it does exactly what it promises.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about Roll Camera!: Super Hero Story Pack
Can I play this expansion without the base game?
No. Roll Camera!: Super Hero Story Pack is a thematic module that requires the base game to function. You can replace some base game cards with these for a superhero-themed game, or mix them all together.
What mechanics does Roll Camera! use?
The base system uses cooperative dice placement, hand management, and resource management under time pressure. The expansion adds specific resource management (CGI tokens) but does not change the main flow of the game.
Do CGI tokens change the game much?
They add a limited resource to constantly monitor. They don't revolutionize the strategy, but they increase tension: every superhero scene forces you to choose whether to spend immediately or save. The feeling of scarcity is strong.
How many superhero scenes are in the pack?
15 scenes dedicated to the comic book movie genre, plus a production company (Wonder Studios), a modular script, and an equipment card. It's enough to transform the theme of an entire game or enrich the base deck with narrative variety.
Is this edition in Italian?
No. The edition for sale is in English. The cards contain text (scene names, requirements, effects), so a basic knowledge of the language is required. There are no official Italian translations available at the moment.
