Pairs well with
The FroGames card
You have three piles of cards in front of you. One promises dragons, another holy relics, the third speaks of sea monsters. You can only follow one per round, and once a card is torn, that choice is lost forever.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
Adventures intertwined with your legacy kingdom
Kingdom Legacy - Adventures (originally Feudal Kingdom – Adventures) is an expansion for Kingdom Legacy by Jonathan Fryxelius, designer of Terraforming Mars. It adds 29 adventure cards to your legacy deck, spread over at least 10 rounds of play: stories of dragons, mermaids, lost relics and heroic quests that overlap with the other expansions you will play. Graphics generated with Adobe Firefly.
Each adventure is a narrative crossroads with permanent choices: choose which story to follow, tear cards, add others to your deck. The game uses the deck-building legacy system of Kingdom Legacy: every choice changes your kingdom forever. It requires purging 10 common cards and 1 permanent card before starting.
What they say abroad
"The stories seem too fantastic to be true; giant sea monsters, sirens leading sailors astray, dragons and princesses, holy relics needing to be found, and all are pressing matters."
— FryxGames
It's a game that builds up game after game, but here the adventures are the heart: you need at least 10 rounds to explore them all, and every choice you make today changes what awaits you tomorrow.

Kingdom Legacy - Adventures (Kingdom Legacy: Feudal Kingdom – Adventures)
Kingdom Legacy is a game designed for solo play, and this expansion follows the same philosophy: the narrative adventures work perfectly on your own, in fact, some choices hit you harder precisely because you don't have to negotiate with anyone.
The adventures that await you
Four types of stories to discover
Dragons and princesses
Epic adventures with legendary monsters and heroic rescues. Every choice leads to cards that modify your deck with powerful effects or permanent curses.
Mermaids and cursed seas
Stories of lost sailors and sea creatures. The cards offer you risky choices: pursue the legend or return to port with what you have gathered?
Sacred relics
Spiritual quests to retrieve lost objects. The relics you add to your deck have unique powers but require the sacrifice of permanent cards.
Magic advisors
The wizard and his assistant offer you help... at a price. Their cards unlock secondary narrative paths that intertwine with other adventures.

How to play
The flow of each round
This is an expansion, not a standalone game. It integrates into the Kingdom Legacy system by adding a new type of card.
You play Kingdom Legacy normally: draw 5 cards, play actions, build, add cards to your deck. Adventure cards are shuffled in.
The adventure card presents you with a story and two choices. Read the text, decide which path to follow. The choice is immediate: you cannot go back.
You tear up the played adventure card (legacy system). You search the adventure deck for the consequence card indicated by your choice, and add it to your personal deck. That card is permanent.
Finish your turn normally. The added adventure card will come into play in subsequent rounds, bringing with it effects or new narrative forks.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The legend pile
You have added the 29 adventure cards to your Kingdom Legacy deck. They are shuffled in with everything else: kingdom cards, building cards, expansion cards. You don't know when you'll draw one, but when you do, the table changes: that card is a crossroads.
The first crossroads
You draw the first adventure. A dragon threatens the kingdom, or perhaps it's a legend? The text gives you two choices: confront it or ignore it. You choose. You tear up the card. You add another from the adventure deck. That new card is the consequence of your choice, and remains in the deck forever.
Stories intertwine
You're in the fifth round. You've already played two adventures, and now you draw a third that refers to a choice you made three games ago. The kingdom you're building has a coherent story, even if you didn't plan it.
The price of choices
You chose to follow the sacred relic. The card asks you to sacrifice a permanent card from your deck to gain a unique power. You do it. You tear it up. The relic card enters play, and from now on, every time you draw it, it reminds you of that sacrifice.
After ten rounds
You have explored about a third of the adventures. Some stories are concluded, others are still open. Your deck is full of cards that tell your choices: defeated dragons, heard sirens, found relics. When you play other expansions, these adventures will intertwine with the new ones.

Good to know beforehand
Three honest things
Base game required
This is a pure expansion: you cannot play it without Kingdom Legacy. And not only that: it is recommended to play it as one of the first five expansions, because its stories overlap with future content. If you play it too late, you lose part of the narrative intertwining.
It takes time to see it all
29 adventure cards spread over at least 10 rounds means it takes weeks or months to explore them all. It's not an expansion you add and finish in one evening: it's a layer that spreads across the entire campaign.
More narrative than mechanic
Adventures do not change the Kingdom Legacy game system: they do not add complex new rules. They add narrative choices and cards with legacy effects. If you're looking for new mechanics, this is not the right expansion.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How the expansion is exhausted
There is no specific victory or defeat for this expansion: it integrates into the flow of Kingdom Legacy.
Completion
- You have explored all 29 adventure cards throughout the rounds
- Each played adventure has permanently modified your deck
- The stories have intertwined with the other expansions played in the meantime
Untaken paths
- Some adventures remain unexplored if you make choices that close off entire narrative branches
- Torn cards are lost forever (legacy system)
- You can choose not to follow an adventure and leave it in the deck, but it takes up space
It's an expansion that lives over time: each round adds a piece of history, and in the end you will have a kingdom with a unique narrative, made of your choices.
