The FroGames Card
Smile for the camera. Whisper that he's the one. Then someone plays a card that reveals who you really are. And now the whole house knows you've been lying.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
A reality dating show where no one is who they say they are
Designed by George Li and published by Rabble in 2024, Lovestruck turns the table into a TV studio. Each player embodies a contestant on a reality dating show: some are truly looking for their soulmate, while others are just there to be seen by millions of viewers. The problem is, nobody knows who is who.
Each round is an episode: go on dates, play action cards to discover others' intentions, form couples that can earn Love or Screen Time points. At the end of the show, everyone reveals their Intention Card: if you've coupled up with someone here for the right reasons, you win. However, if the audience reaches 10 million before the finale, only those here for the wrong reasons win. It's a party game where every declaration of love can be a calculated lie.
What they say abroad
"You have just been selected to appear as a contestant on a new reality dating show."
— Rabble
If you've ever watched a dating reality show yelling at the screen, this game will finally give you control.

Your weapons at the table
Cards, objectives, and your best-kept secret
Intention Card
Your secret identity: are you here for love or fame? It remains hidden until the finale, when it decides who truly wins.
Action Cards
You play them on dates to gain Love, Screen Time, or sabotage couples. Some have Special Actions that give you extra advantages or ruin others' plans.
Screen Time
The currency of fame: accumulating it increases the audience. If it reaches 10 million before the finale, only players here for the wrong reasons win.
Couple Tokens
They mark the couples formed during the show. At the final reveal, you discover if your partner was sincere or using you for visibility.

How to Play
The Flow of Each Episode
Each round is an episode of the show. It repeats until the finale or until the audience explodes.
One player chooses two contestants for a date. They can be chosen by production or influenced by Special Action cards played beforehand.
The two contestants play Action Cards. Some create LOVE (allowing you to form a couple), others generate DRAMA (you gain Screen Time and boost the audience).
If the date goes well, you couple up and get extra cards. If it goes badly, you gain Screen Time. Some cards allow you to sabotage existing couples or steal someone else's partner.
If the total Screen Time reaches 10 million, the game ends immediately. Everyone reveals their Intention Cards: those here for the wrong reasons win immediately, the others lose.
⏱️Your First GameThe chronicle, moment by moment▼
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The casting
Everyone secretly draws their Intention Card. Some are here for love, others for visibility. No one says it out loud, but they're already scrutinizing each other's faces. The first words are all lies.
First dates
Two players are chosen for a date. They play cards, declare love or create drama. Some gain Love and form a couple. Others accumulate Screen Time and smile at the imaginary camera.
The sabotage
A Special Action card breaks up a newly formed couple. Accusations fly: "You're only here for the followers!" "No, you are!" The audience rises. Someone who is lying laughs too loudly.
The finale approaches
Total Screen Time is at 8 million. If it reaches 10, the game ends immediately and only the fakes win. Everyone looks at who has the most Screen Time. Someone tries to slow down, someone else speeds up on purpose.
The revelation
Season Finale: all Intention Cards are flipped. Those who coupled up with someone "right" win. Those who trusted the wrong person lose. Laughter, affectionate insults, someone swears revenge for next time.
🐸Good to know beforehandThree honest things, from friends▼
Good to know beforehand
Three things you need to know
You need to act and speak
It's not a quiet game. If you don't like making up stories, declaring fake love, or loudly accusing others, you'll be bored. The ideal table is one that laughs loud and isn't ashamed to bluff in front of friends.
Below 6 players, it loses its edge
With 5 players it technically works, but it lacks the multiple dynamics that make the game unpredictable. The chaos and cross-betrayals really explode with 7 or more.
The balance is fragile
If too many players are here for fame, the audience can explode quickly and end the game in 20 minutes. If everyone is here for love, the ending is predictable. The beauty is in the doubt, but a lucky random distribution is needed.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Two possible endings, depending on who lied best and how high the audience got.
Victory
- In the Season Finale, you are coupled with someone who revealed they are here for the right reasons (same objective as yours)
- The audience reaches 10 million before the finale AND your Intention Card says you are here for fame: you win immediately
- You have accumulated enough Love to satisfy your secret objective (optional variant)
Defeat
- In the finale, you are coupled with someone here for the wrong reasons: you have opposing objectives
- You are left alone at the time of the Season Finale
- The audience explodes to 10 million but you were here for love: you lost immediately
It's a party game that rewards calculated betrayal and brazen acting. If your group loves to lie to each other's faces, this is your reality show.

FAQ about Lovestruck
Does it need a host or do all players participate?
Everyone plays. There is no host role: date choices and Special Action cards regulate the flow. It's a pure party game where no one is left out.
What mechanics does Lovestruck use?
Social deduction with hidden objectives, light hand management (you manage action cards), take that (direct sabotage of other couples), and an early game end condition that changes everything (audience at 10 million).
Can it be played with fewer than 5 players?
No, the minimum is 5 and it's already borderline. The game is designed for large groups: the social dynamics and multiple betrayals truly work well with 7 to 10 players.
Is it suitable for sensitive audiences or quiet evenings?
No. It's a game where you lie, betray, sabotage couples, and publicly accuse. If the group is easily offended or prefers honest cooperative games, choose something else. It's perfect for those who love chaos and laugh at low blows.
Is it available in Italian?
This edition is in English. The cards contain text (action names, special effects), so a basic understanding of English or someone at the table who can translate on the fly is needed.
The people behind the game
Who invented it, who designed it, who publishes it — and what else they've done.
Lovestruck is a social deduction party game for 5-10 players, lasting 45-90 minutes, recommended for ages 13+. Designed by George Li and published by Rabble, it brings the dynamics of a dating reality show to the table: each player has a secret objective (seeking love or fame) and must bluff, form couples, or sabotage others using action cards. It uses social deduction, hand management, and take-that mechanics, with an early game end condition that changes everything if the audience reaches 10 million viewers. Available on FroGames.it.
