In this territorial strategy board game , your goal is to lead the largest, smartest, and most dominant pack. But you're not alone out there: other packs are vying for the same territories, the same lone wolves, the same prey. And only one will prevail.
Your every choice is determined by an intelligent action selection system: flip territory tiles to move, hunt, recruit new wolves, and defend your hegemony. But beware: the tiles you use today determine where you can act tomorrow. It's a game of adaptation, planning, and ferocity.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. You are a pack. Not a wolf. A pack.
In The Wolves , you don't command a single wolf, but rather lead the entire pack. You must hunt, mark your territory, and attract new members to become the dominant pack on the entire map.
2. Use the modular map to expand strategically
The map is divided into different terrain types (forest, tundra, mountains, etc.). To move or mark territories, you must discard tiles with the appropriate terrain type. Every move must be carefully planned.
3. Dominate through control, hunting and recruitment
You have three actions per turn: you can hunt prey (to score points), lure lone wolves (to expand the pack), or build lairs, fortified lairs, and alpha lairs (to control territory). Each action brings you closer to supremacy... or defeat.
4. Be careful of the full moon: the pack's rhythms change.
During the game, there are Full Moon phases that trigger intermediate scores. At those times, controlling the most coveted areas and having the majority makes the real difference.
5. The most dominant pack wins, not the most aggressive.
Ultimately, the winner is the one who can balance expansion, territory control, pack development, and moon timing. The Wolves is a deep, yet incredibly accessible, area-control game… and visually stunning.
