Keep the cardboard Nucleum tokens aside (or leave them in the box as a backup). The metal coins replace them completely.
Each player receives their starting supply according to standard Nucleum rules. Use the silver (1) and gold (5) Thalers as you would the tokens.
All mechanics remain identical: payments, earnings, resource management. The only difference is the physical sensation of moving metal instead of cardboard.
