The sun slowly sets behind the red rocks, the sand vibrates in the warm air, and a small group of stubborn mules decide it's time to put on a show. In Stubborn Mules, nothing is linear: sometimes speed is an advantage, other times it's the worst choice you can make.
The color dice determine who advances, who sprints, and who inexplicably retreats as if they'd spotted a rattlesnake in the dunes. Then comes the magic of the next turn: whoever plays next can block one or two dice and reroll only the rest, creating micro-tactics, targeted slowdowns, and those laughs that erupt when the wrong mule runs away.
But the desert always hides a surprise: arriving first isn't enough . You win only if the last token left on the path is a man. If it's a mule... the reward goes to its owner. A crazy ending that turns everything upside down like a sudden dust shower.
