In Prophecy, you become a Mayan priest, called to interpret the cycles of creation and destruction that mark time. Only those who can best read the signs and transform them into accurate prophecies will be recognized as High Priest.
It's a trick-taking game for 2–6 players , quick to explain and engaging. You'll have to sacrifice cards and win the right tricks to prove your worth. Each round is a test of foresight and risk, where anticipating your opponents' moves is key.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY Prophecy
1. Become High Priest... or be shipwrecked in prophecy.
In Prophecy, you are a Mayan priest who must interpret the cycles of creation and destruction. Your goal is to make accurate predictions and earn the title of High Priest. But beware: every choice can bring you closer to power... or send you sliding into oblivion.
2. Bet on your skills... sacrificing part of the deck.
At the start of each round, you secretly discard a few cards to declare how many tricks you think you'll win. You'll hang this leap of faith on fate... but be careful, because those cards can't be used in battle. Using too many cards weakens you. Using too few could cause you to gamble in vain.
3. Guess the opponents, manipulate the hand.
Prophecy is a game of bluffing and intuition. You'll have to try to anticipate how many tricks others have bet, pushing them into glaring errors, while trying to hit your prophecy. The real challenge is balancing courage and caution, while always keeping your deck under control.
4. Hidden objectives, palpable tension.
Only those in the lead know which round objectives change the rules. These secret objective cards can turn the tables at the last second, testing your ability to adapt, stay sharp, and dominate the forecasting arena.
5. Whoever prophesies best and is left holding the cards wins.
After eight rounds, the winner is the player with the most accurate prophecies—but also the one who managed their hand best. In Prophecy, it's not just luck or strategy: it's the perfect combination of intuition, bluffing, and control. Only then can you truly write your name in the history of the Mayan empire.

Prophecy is a card board game for 2-6 players, based on trick-taking mechanics with predictive betting . The objective is to declare how many tricks you can take and demonstrate that you have the vision to achieve them.
