In Penguin Party, the long winter is over, and the penguins have only one thing on their minds: celebrating. How? By building a towering pyramid of colorful penguins above the frozen ocean—and trying to get rid of their cards first with clever moves and clever placements.
You all create the board together, one layer at a time: you can play on the sides of the base or move up higher, as long as your penguin is resting on two other penguins and at least one is the same color. It's simple, it's intuitive, but every turn triggers that typical Knizia effect: a tiny rule that generates surprising decisions .
This card board game is perfect when you want something immediate but not banal: kids laugh at the growing penguin tower, adults start calculating spaces and colors to avoid getting stuck with cards in their hands. And when you realize you've blocked someone's only available position... the party gets even louder.
