Six Sojourns is a family strategy board game for 2–4 players, created by Ryan Laukat as a modern reimagining of Eight-Minute Empire. The game combines territory control, card selection, and skill management: each turn, players choose one of five available cards, each with actions (build houses, move, obtain ships, expand the family) and icons representing professions such as cooking, carpentry, craftsmanship, art, and goldsmithing.
Only nine cards are selected for the entire game: few decisions, but all decisive. The game can be played as a campaign consisting of six journeys (sojourns), each with new rules and cards, or as a single, customizable experience. Perfect for those looking for a short, strategic, interactive and low-complexity board game, but with rich and satisfying choices.
