🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose your beetle fighter and set of shapes
Each player takes a sumo bug with a unique set of wooden pieces (circles, ovals, rectangles, etc.). Each shape represents their pushing style and has different effects in the ring.
2. Push one piece at a time onto the arena
On your turn, you choose a piece from your supply and slowly push it onto the round board from the edge. The goal is to strategically move other pieces... without moving your own.
3. Knock opponents out of the ring to win
If you can push your opponent's insect off the board, you win! But be careful: you might also push your own pieces off the board, reducing your future options.
4. Only recover pieces if you drop them.
Every time you push pieces off the board, you can retrieve them and reuse them. This creates a resource management cycle: pushing well isn't just strategy, it's survival.
5. The one who remains alone in the ring wins.
The round ends when one of the bugs is eliminated. If you play more than one, it's a one-off. The winner is the last beetle left in the ring!

We loved the design of the insect wrestlers, the asymmetrical powers, and how a simple push can change the entire match .
Each match is a race between logic and controlled chaos, and between one push and the next, you find yourself cheering like in a real sumo match (only much more slippery).
A game we always enjoy bringing to the table to engage even the less experienced, or to break the ice with style and laughter.
