A cooperative narrative game for 1-4 players, set during the events of the video game Mass Effect 3.
The branching narrative campaign ensures great replayability and a new experience every time you play.
The crew of the Normandy still has a mission to accomplish. It's the year 2186, and the Reapers have invaded the galaxy. Because the Council ignored Commander Shepard's warnings, the Citadel races are overwhelmed and on the verge of losing the war. Aboard the Normandy, Shepard carries out missions to prepare the Crucible , an ancient alien superweapon, for a last-ditch effort to defeat the Reapers. It's a race against time, and Shepard must exploit every possible advantage. On the remote world of Hagalaz, a research cruiser for the terrorist organization Cerberus has crashed directly in the path of a deadly storm. With little time left before the storm arrives, Shepard must lead a team through the cruiser to uncover its sinister secrets and keep them out of enemy hands. However, the ship holds far more dangers than its former crew. Within the depths of the shattered cruiser, creatures and enemies far worse than the Cerberus forces guarding them lurk... A branching narrative campaign allows for multiple playthroughs with a different experience each time. The story evolves based on your actions, and decisions made during early missions will impact subsequent ones.
Build Shepard's squad with some of the most iconic characters from the Mass Effect trilogy: Liara, Tali, Wrex, and Garrus. Customize and upgrade your companions by earning experience and taking on optional loyalty missions.
You can play multiple campaigns of 3/5 missions each , depending on the choices you make.
The game features nine group missions, plus optional, character-specific loyalty missions. Each mission has its own special rules, objective, and game map.
On their turn, each player will roll the dice and, based on the results, choose their three available actions.
Available actions include movement, mission-specific actions, reviving a companion, performing your own character-specific actions, damaging enemies, etc.
The turn ends with a danger card, which usually activates enemies.
