You'll manage resources, send your Seeker against hidden threats, and build Kinfire beacons to illuminate hope... or consolidate your dominance. 1. Welcome to Din'Lux, where even power has a price.
In Kinfire Council , you sit among the highest remaining authority in a world on the brink of darkness. Din'Lux is the last city, and it's up to you to decide whether to save it... or control it. Each round, send your agents into the city's districts to gather resources, build Kinfire beacons, and thwart the plans of Altan's shadowy sect.
2. Ruthless politics, subtle strategy.
Everything you do has consequences. Every building you upgrade, every Seeker you send on a mission, every vote you cast in Council meetings changes the balance of power. The core of the game is a strategic interplay of worker placement, political votes, and ideological conflict . And yes, you might even get another Council member arrested. Or get arrested yourself.
3. The threat of the Cult grows… and one of you is one of them.
The Altan Cult isn't just an external enemy: it's also an inexorable clock that can win the game if left unchecked. But beware: one of you could be the hidden conspirator , deliberately thwarting the votes, sabotaging missions, or pretending to be helpful... until it's too late.
4. Every decision is an act of government (or rebellion).
Over the course of the game, you'll vote on city laws , send your Seeker to resolve crises, and decide who to incarcerate or free. Collective choices influence the city's development, but personal interests reign supreme . Are you truly willing to work together to save Din'Lux… if it means losing your throne?
5. End of game: who rules in the end?
The game can end in three ways: with victory for the city and the most influential player, with a diplomatic draw... or with the triumph of the Cult. And if this happens, only the hidden Cultist will rejoice. Kinfire Council is a game where cooperation, betrayal, and political ambition coexist in a precarious balance.

As the city struggles against the Starless Nights, Council members pass laws, arrest cultists, and strengthen defenses. But among those present may be a traitor , ready to give the Cult victory from within.

Kinfire Council is a competitive board game for 2-6 players set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. Designed by Kevin Wilson ( Descent , Arkham Horror ), it combines worker placement and voting mechanics in an original and tense way. Each turn, you'll gather resources, upgrade structures, and influence the Council's decisions, but you'll also have to keep an eye on the advance of the Cult of Altan , a hidden enemy waiting to strike.

The Cult? It's there, ready to turn everything upside down... and if you're the conspirator, you'll enjoy every second of the bluff. A perfect game for those who love diplomacy disguised as efficiency , with spectacular artwork and a fascinating lore that gets under your skin.
