A ruined world to explore
In Heredity: The Book of Swan , you guide a family trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic universe, in a narrative campaign divided into five chapters. Each adventure brings new locations, events, characters, and plot twists, with a story shaped by your choices.
Four protagonists and a fragile bond
Regardless of the number of players, you'll control all four family members together, while Swan, the youngest, remains a non-player character. Each hero has three action tokens to distribute between movement, interactions, combat, and item searches, which must be coordinated as a group to face dangers.
Cards that transform history
The board is made up of terrain cards and narrative elements that reveal and transform during the game. Certain events reveal new locations, enemies, or allies, while the equipment you acquire allows you to unlock additional abilities or strategic combinations to survive.
Morality and destiny
Trials and battles are resolved through the Karma deck, which not only decides the immediate outcome but evolves based on your choices, influencing morale, narrative, and the campaign's ending. The group's decisions have a permanent impact on the game world.
A campaign of no return
