Micro Dojo – Strategy in your pocket
In Micro Dojo , two Daimyo compete to bring prosperity to a small town under the watchful eye of the Shogun. Everything seems calm, but every move is a katana slash into the void: whoever mistimes or misplaces a piece, loses the opportunity. An abstract and strategic board game for 1-2 players , compact yet deep, it plays in less than half an hour… but stays in your head for hours.
Take control of Ninjas, Samurais, Sumos, and Geishas , using their skills to gather resources, acquire buildings, and complete the objectives set by the fearsome Shogun. Each turn is a tactical dance: you can't move the same piece you just used, neither yourself nor your opponent. And here's the fun part: bluffing, control, and anticipation become crucial.
With streamlined rules and tense gameplay right down to the last detail, Micro Dojo is also perfect for those looking for a compact but innovative solo game . It fits in your pocket, but you play it with your head. And with a samurai's heart.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Move meeples on a 3x3 dojo according to precise rules
Each player controls the same set of meeples and moves them on a 3x3 mini-board. You can't move the same meeple twice in a row, nor move it in the same direction as the previous turn. Every move must be thought out!
2. Activate the action of the box you land on
Each dojo space has an effect: you gain coins, honor, points, or construct or activate buildings. Each choice is limited by location, so moving wisely is key to gaining advantages.
3. Acquire buildings to power up and gain points
By spending resources, you can acquire buildings that provide points and bonuses. Some enhance actions, others unlock conditions for future victories. Deciding when and what to build is crucial to optimizing your moves.
4. Complete objectives before your opponent to score points
Each game, two variable objectives are revealed. If you manage to fulfill one of them (e.g., gaining more honor or more buildings), you can claim it and score points. But be careful: your opponent is also vying for the same goal.
5. The first player to reach 7 points wins, but every move counts.
The first to reach 7 points wins, but the game often comes down to a razor's edge , with tactical decisions made every turn. It's a pocket-sized board game perfect for two players who enjoy miniature duels of the mind.

Micro Dojo
Greatness doesn't require space. Only a mind ready for a duel.
A tactical duel in pocket format: ninja, samurai and geisha compete for the honor of the village.
Micro Dojo – Where every move is a blow, every silence a strategy
In the heart of a small Japanese village, two Daimyo vie for the Shogun's favor.
But you don't need armies: all you need is a ninja, a sumo, a geisha, and a samurai... and a sharp mind.
Micro Dojo is a compact eurogame that compresses the tension of a great strategy game into just 20 minutes and a few square centimeters.
Each turn is a puzzle: you can only move one of four meeple, but not the one just used — neither by you nor by your opponent.
Plan, anticipate, exploit turn objectives, construct buildings, and obtain resources. All with a single movement.
A game that combines depth, elegance, and extreme portability . Brilliant.
Micro Dojo: Japanese strategy concentrated in a small box
Micro Dojo , created by Ben Downton and published by Prometheus Game Labs, is a board game for 1-2 players with a Japanese setting and brilliant, tactical Eurogame mechanics.
Perfect for those looking for a portable but sharp 20-minute game, it puts you in charge of one of two Daimyo families fighting to develop the village under the watchful eye of the Shogun.
Each turn you move one of four characters on a 3x3 grid, activating abilities to gather resources, build buildings, or score points.
But you can never move the same character twice in a row: every move is limited by the past… and by your opponent.
An elegant ballet of anticipation and deception, where every decision counts . And with solo mode, the duel never stops.

We played it. And we always have it in our pockets 🐸
Micro Dojo is one of the nicest surprises I've ever received in mini format 🐸
The balance between simple rules and tough decisions is spectacular, and every game left us wanting more.
The tension between prediction and bluff is palpable, and every point feels hard-won.
We recommend it to those who love micro-sized games , to fans of modern abstracts and to those looking for a strategic board game to take everywhere .
