In the 19th century, alchemy was an occult science, suspended between modern discoveries and ancient wisdom. Trismegistus puts you in the shoes of a researcher who has rediscovered the notes of the legendary Hermes Trismegistus and is pursuing the formula for the Philosopher's Stone.
Designed by Daniele Tascini and Federico Pierlorenzi — the authors of Teotihuacan — and published by Board&Dice, Trismegistus is a dice drafting eurogame for 1–4 players. In three rounds, the three years of your doctorate, you draft dice, transmute metals, activate artifacts, and publish your research.
This new edition revises the mechanics to make them more accessible and less cumbersome, without losing the depth that made Trismegistus famous. No blind luck: the dice open possibilities; it's up to you to decide how to exploit them. The one who optimizes best wins.
