🐸 HOW TO PLAY
Build your own multi-ethnic court
Each player leads a court during the time of Frederick II and seeks to attract scholars, artisans, clerics, and travelers from across the Mediterranean. Each character has unique abilities to utilize and requirements to meet.
Manage resources and schedule simultaneous actions
Each round, players secretly choose three actions to perform simultaneously. These actions include: recruiting characters, producing resources, influencing regions, and developing technologies.
Use multi-role cards
Parade cards have multiple uses: they can be played as characters, used to gain resources, or discarded to activate abilities. The versatility of the cards is the heart of the strategy.
Control regions with cultural influence
Throughout the game, you can expand your influence across various regions of the known world. Gaining majorities in specific areas brings immediate benefits and victory points at the end of the game.
Gain prestige and win with the most prestigious court
At the end of the game, the player with the most prestige points wins. Points are earned for characters, conquered regions, collected sets, and developed technologies.
