Halloween, 1986. The sky is ripped apart by lightning, and the local theater is buzzing with excitement for the annual Spooktacular Film Festival . But when lightning strikes the theater... the monsters on the screen come to life. And the best part is, you're one of them . 👻
In Spooktacular , you'll take on the (tattered) role of one of twenty iconic and completely different movie monsters. The goal? To vanquish your rivals with sheer terror, scare and devour the audience in the most spectacular way possible, and become the legend of legends... or at least the most beloved villain on VHS!
The rules are simple, but each monster has unique powers that transform the game. The map movement system and set collection make each game unique, quick to learn but full of strategic surprises.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Sei una squadra di ghost hunter in una casa infestata
In Spooktacular, i giocatori collaborano come membri di un team paranormale chiamato a indagare in una villa infestata da presenze inquietanti. È un gioco da tavolo cooperativo e narrativo, con misteri da risolvere e spiriti da affrontare.
2. Ogni giocatore ha un personaggio con poteri speciali
Scegli un investigatore tra vari archetipi: sensitivo, tecnico, medium, esperto occulto… ognuno ha abilità uniche che influenzano come affrontare eventi, ostacoli e manifestazioni sovrannaturali.
3. Si esplora la mappa stanza per stanza, gestendo eventi e minacce
La casa è divisa in stanze collegate. Durante il turno puoi muoverti, investigare, raccogliere oggetti, evocare spiriti o placare quelli ostili. Ogni stanza può contenere eventi casuali o scriptati che avanzano la trama.
4. Il sistema di gioco è a scenari, con sfide e obiettivi diversi ogni volta
Ogni partita è guidata da uno scenario con una storia specifica, obiettivi chiari e regole particolari. Alcune missioni richiedono esorcismi, altre fuga, altre ancora risoluzione di enigmi paranormali. Alta rigiocabilità e atmosfera spooky garantita.
5. Vince la squadra… se sopravvive all’infestazione
Se completate l'obiettivo dello scenario prima che la casa venga sopraffatta dalle forze oscure o che i personaggi siano sopraffatti, vincete. Ma ogni errore, ogni apparizione non gestita, porta più vicino alla disfatta…

Gioco breve,cooperativo ma con possibilità di giocarlo anche in solitario. Regole molto semplici ma con scelte importanti soprattutto verso la fine.
Frogames è lo store di giochi da tavolo n. 1 in assoluto: varietà, prezzi, disponibilità sono solo alcuni degli aspetti che non si possono trascurare. Ma dietro a questo c'è di più: ci sono delle persone che lavorano con passione e lo dimostrano nel loro modo di essere sempre pronti a dare una mano. C'è una community viva, divertente e sana. E un programma VIP economico che è un mai più senza per i serial buyer.
Un gioco di maggioranze semplice e geniale. Hai due scelte: piazzi un pinguino vicino ad un laghetto (esagono) o passi per arrivare prima a scegliere la tua migliore posizione vicino all'esagono successivo. Non si può non averlo.
Perfetto, letteralmente fa tornare indietro più di quanto speso!

Un boss battler western originale e super divertente.
Ambientato in un Far West un po’ fuori di testa, mette il giocatore contro ondate di nemici sempre più ostici, da affrontare usando le mani del poker in scontri tattici e frenetici. È un titolo davvero difficile, ma anche estremamente soddisfacente e pieno di personalità. Consigliatissimo!

Che dire? Se ti piace Riftforce devi comprare il Beyond. Soprattutto per l’aggiunta della modalità 2vs2 che rende il gioco più bello della versione 1vs1.
Le fazioni nuove sono fresche, non sanno di forzatura nel proseguire una linea di gioco. Inoltre, avere le espansioni italiane può essere solo un qualcosa in più.
Attendo che escano le versioni italiane della versione 3.
In giochi come compile, le espansioni nuove non rallentano nè rendono il gioco peggiore. Semplicemente hai più scelta. Quindi raccomando.
Se ti è piaciuto Compile 1, questa espansione aggiunge nuovi moduli. Il gioco è il medesimo, ma hai più scelta di fazioni.
Che dire? Bisogna averlo nella propria libreria di giochi. Bellissimo, stupendo. Iper strategico, tattico. Ognuno ha la sua fazione, totalmente diversa dalle altre. Ognuno persegue il proprio scopo, ma non devi essere troppo individualista, altrimenti l’equilibrio si spezza e avviene la rivolta.

Dona ad Hegemony un tema in più.
Rivivi i grandi cambiamenti epocali mentre svolgi il tuo ruolo, in base alla fazione, come da gioco base di Hegemony.
Un’aggiunta che ci sta.
In Hegemony ci sono tantissime carte di tipologia differente che vanno organizzate per bene. Avere i dividers per porre tutte le carte ordinatamente nel box è una grande comodità.
Questo è uno di quei giochi che tanto ho rimandato prima di comprare. È stato nella mia lista per mesi e mesi. Appena l’ho giocato la prima volta me ne sono innamorato. È semplice, divertente, ci si fa la lotta con gli amici, si cerca di scansare i mostri, ma poi qualcuno te li fa cascare sopra. E poi le tessere che giri e ti può capitare lo strumento positivo o la catastrofe. Insomma, se ci si vuole divertire, è adatto.
È diventato uno dei miei giochi preferiti.

A party game with a B-movie atmosphere, but A+ gameplay. 🐸
Spooktacular manages to combine chaos, accessible rules, and high replayability thanks to the monsters' powers.
We especially liked it because it's hilarious and scary in the same turn : you can transform into a murderous slime or a psychopathic clown looking for victims… and each monster completely changes the approach.
Ideal for themed evenings, but also for players who love less banal and more "cinematic" titles.
Special mention for the design: the 80s cult poster style is a gem .
