🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Welcome to Spectral Manor, where treasure comes at a… paranormal price.
In Spectral , each player leads a band of treasure hunters into the legendary cursed mansion, active only during the Red Moon. The goal is to reveal and claim rooms containing treasure , while avoiding those haunted by spirits and curses. Be warned: not everything is what it seems, and information is scarce, secret… and manipulable.
2. Deduction and bluff: Read the glyphs, but don't reveal everything.
Each room may contain treasure or ghostly traps , but hidden glyphs in the corridors help you determine which ones are safe. Some glyphs are public, others are yours alone. Each turn, you can station a seeker in a room, place glyphs, or pass. But the longer you wait, the more likely you are to lose control of the best rooms.
3. Auctions, bets and bluffs for control of the manor.
Players compete for control of rooms , but will often have to bluff or make secret offers to confuse their opponents. A seemingly cursed room could hide treasure… or maybe someone is just trying to scare you away? The system rewards cunning, not just logic.
4. End of game: who collects the most treasures (without being cursed)?
The game ends when one player has placed all of their seekers or all players decide to pass consecutively . At that point, the rooms are revealed: players score points for discovered treasures , but suffer penalties if they have explored cursed rooms. The player with the most riches and the fewest curses wins.
5. Three levels of challenge, a modular and growing experience.
Spectral is a deduction and bluffing board game for 2-5 players , with games lasting about 45 minutes. Thanks to the increasingly difficult modules , you can start with basic mode and then add advanced abilities, special rules, and more strategic depth . Ideal for competitive groups or fans of mind games like Cryptid or Blood on the Clocktower .
